🌿 Farmers — we want to learn from you.

We're hosting a short online conversation this Thursday (12 March, 9am) with farmers and bamboo growers across Europe.

No agenda. No sales pitch. Just an open discussion about what it actually takes to grow the bamboo sector here in Europe — and what support would make a real difference.

30–45 minutes on Microsoft Teams. Spots are limited.

Making an attempt to identify one of our potted bamboo plants which started flowering here within the last 2 weeks. Any guesses?

It’s quite difficult to identify young bamboo shoots from new rhizome propagation. Many Phyllostachys, or running bamboo species have quite similar characteristics. We consulted with our one of our favorite bamboo experts here in the Netherlands , and based on pictures and current flowering species in the region, this very well could be Phyllostachys Nigra Henonis.
