🇳🇱 IPA Flensburg, Duitsland organiseert van 18 tot en met 25 augustus het evenement "Flensburg on Patrol". Aan dit evenement nemen 18 collega's uit 11 landen deel, waaronder ook 2 Nederlandse collega's. Tijdens deze week is er een uitgebreid programma: van het bijwonen van een verkeerscontrole tot een vlucht over de stad en van een brouwerij bezoek tot een rondleiding bij het politie trainingscentrum en de ME.

🇬🇧 IPA Flensburg, Germany is organising from 18 to 25 August the event "Flensburg on Patrol". At this event 18 colleagues from 11 countries are participating, including 2 Dutch colleagues. During this week there is an extensive programma: ranging from attending a traffic check to a flight over the city and from a brewery visit to a tour of the police trainingcentre and the riot police.

🇬🇧 Special offer for foreign IPA members!

Join us on Wednesday, 9 December 2026, for the 5th edition of the International Police Association (IPA) Blue Light Ride — a unique event bringing light, hope and solidarity to sick children. Police officers and IPA members from Belgium, Germany, Scotland, Poland and England have already taken part in recent years.

What can you expect?
* Ride together in a convoy of over a 100 emergency service vehicles from different countries
* Visit to the VieCuri hospital in Venlo and bring smiles to patients
* Experience an unforgettable evening filled with lights, sirens and solidarity
* Meet IPA members and first responder colleagues from different countries �
Invitation to IPA Members Worldwide
We warmly invite IPA members from around the world to join us for this special event.

The programme includes:
* Two nights' accommodation (8 december -> 10 December) near Venlo
* The opportunity to participate in the Blue Light Ride convoy
* Pick-up from local train stations, if required
* The option to park your emergency vehicle in a secure car park
* A programme featuring Dutch emergency services and the Blue Light Ride
Any other costs (such as meals, travel expenses, etc.) are to be paid by the participant. No formal invitations are sent out for the purpose of a visa application.

Participants must wear their uniform (employer’s permission is therefore required) and it would be much appreciated if an emergency vehicle could be brought along.

🇳🇱 De afgelopen dagen stonden in het teken van een internationaal IPA-programma in Duitsland genaamd de YPOS. Vanuit Nederland waren Thom (IPA Rotterdam) en Joep (IPA Limburg-Noord) van de partij. Deelnemers uit verschillende landen maakten kennis met de Duitse politieorganisatie, bezochten onder andere de mobiele eenheid, bereden politie en Bundespolizei en kregen een kijkje bij innovatieve ontwikkelingen binnen het politiewerk. Naast inhoudelijke bezoeken was er volop ruimte voor sport, cultuur en ontspanning. Zo werden Düsseldorf en Münster bezocht, was er een internationale avond en werden ervaringen en tradities met elkaar gedeeld.

Een bijzonder moment was het gezamenlijk planten van een boom, als blijvend symbool voor de internationale verbondenheid en de vriendschappen die tijdens deze week zijn ontstaan. Na acht indrukwekkende dagen kwam er een einde aan een waardevolle internationale ontmoeting. Met nieuwe kennis, mooie herinneringen en vooral veel nieuwe vriendschappen kijken de deelnemers terug op een bijzondere week.

🇬🇧 The past few days have been dominated by an international IPA programme in Germany known as YPOS. Thom (IPA Rotterdam) and Joep (IPA Limburg-Noord) were there representing the Netherlands. Participants from various countries were introduced to the German police organisation, visiting, amongst others, the riot police, mounted police and the Bundespolizei, and were given an insight into innovative developments within police work. Alongside these informative visits, there was plenty of time for sport, culture and relaxation. The group visited Düsseldorf and Münster, enjoyed an international evening, and shared experiences and traditions with one another.

A special moment was the joint planting of a tree, as a lasting symbol of the international solidarity and the friendships forged during the week. After eight impressive days, this valuable international gathering came to an end. With new knowledge, wonderful memories and, above all, many new friendships, the participants look back on a special week.

🇳🇱 Afgelopen dinsdag organiseerden IPA Den Haag en IPA Limburg-Noord gezamenlijk een bezoek aan de Dienst Vervoer en Ondersteuning (DV&O) van de Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen (DJI) in Zoetermeer.

De leden kwamen niet alleen uit de organiserende IPA districten, maar ook uit Zeeland-West-Brabant en Utrecht. Na een welkomstwoord door de directeur werden diverse afdelingen en voertuigen van DV&O gepresenteerd. Ook werden er demonstraties gegeven door speurhondengeleiders. De aanwezige leden waren onder de indruk van het materieel maar ook de brede taakstelling van DV&O.

Wij kijken terug op een zeer interessant bezoek en we willen DV&O bedanken voor de gastvrijheid en goede verzorging.

🇬🇧 Last Tuesday, IPA The Hague and IPA Limburg-North jointly organised a visit to the Transport and Support Service (DV&O) of the Judicial Institutions Service (DJI) in Zoetermeer.

The members came not only from the organising IPA districts, but also from Zeeland-West-Brabant and Utrecht. Following a welcome address by the director, various departments and vehicles of the DV&O were presented. Demonstrations were also given by sniffer dog handlers. The members present were impressed not only by the equipment but also by the wide range of tasks undertaken by the DV&O.

We look back on a very interesting visit and would like to thank DV&O for their hospitality and excellent hospitality.

🇳🇱 Namens IPA Griekenland – IPA Le**os nodigen wij IPA-leden, hun gezinnen, vrienden en collega’s van harte uit om deel te nemen aan de 6e editie van de MORIA RUN, die op 14 juni 2026 plaatsvindt op het eiland Le**os in Griekenland.

De MORIA RUN is een uniek sport- en cultuurevenement dat lichaamsbeweging, natuur, geschiedenis en gemeenschapszin combineert in het prachtige landschap van Le**os. Het evenement verwelkomt niet alleen ervaren hardlopers, maar ook gezinnen, kinderen, wandelaars en natuurliefhebbers die samen willen genieten van een onvergetelijke zomeravond.

Deelnemers krijgen de kans om schilderachtige routes te volgen, omringd door de natuurlijke schoonheid van Le**os, waaronder de olijfgaarden van Moria en het indrukwekkende Romeinse aquaduct, een van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden van het eiland.

Het evenement van dit jaar is bijzonder belangrijk, omdat het deel uitmaakt van de viering van het 40-jarig bestaan van IPA Le**os.

🇬🇧 On behalf of IPA Greece – IPA Lesvos, we are pleased to invite IPA members, families, friends, and colleagues to participate in the 6th edition of the MORIA RUN, taking place on Lesvos Island, Greece, on 14 June 2026.

MORIA RUN is a unique sporting and cultural event that combines exercise, nature, history, and community spirit in the beautiful countryside of Lesvos. The event welcomes not only experienced runners, but also families, children, walkers, and nature lovers wishing to enjoy a memorable summer evening together.

Participants will have the opportunity to follow scenic routes surrounded by the natural beauty of Lesvos, including the olive groves of Moria and the impressive Roman Aqueduct, one of the island’s most important historical landmarks.

This year’s event is especially significant as it forms part of the celebrations marking 40 years of IPA Lesvos.

🇳🇱 Op 29 mei 2027 organiseert IPA Nederland voor de eerste keer een internationale verzamelbeurs. Deze wordt gehouden in Berkel en Rodenrijs.
