🇬🇧 The second day of ‘Denmark on Patrol’ centred on a visit to the Danish police’s traffic department. We also visited the canine unit, where one of our Dutch participants had the chance to experience for themselves what it’s like to run away from a police dog and be ‘bitten’ (wearing a protective suit, of course). A unique experience!

🇬🇧 IPA members Burhan (IPA Brabant-Oost) and Yaron (IPA Oost-Nederland) are currently in Copenhagen for the ‘Denmark on Patrol’ event, alongside colleagues from Spain, Iceland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and Austria, amongst others.

They were given an interesting tour of the Copenhagen Police Headquarters. They were also given the opportunity to observe their heavily armed SWAT team and gained a better understanding of their working methods and equipment.

A wonderful day full of international cooperation, knowledge-sharing and strengthening mutual ties!
