Today is a day of gratitude and new beginnings: Pieter Joziasse is stepping down as chairman of the Saving Lives Foundation.
Pieter has been with us since the very start. With a profound passion for resuscitation and safety, he led and grew our foundation. Together, we built wonderful memories:
โข The Radio 10 Resuscitation Days with Rob van Someren (who remembers Soestdijk Palace?).
โข Live AED donations on the radio.
โข Our international expansion during the ERC Congress in Ljubljana.
Above all, he leaves behind a lasting impact: thanks to Pieterโs dedication, more and more AEDs are now stationed throughout Europe, making a life-saving difference every single day โ a mission our new chairman, Anne-Marieke Wieman, is honored to continue.
Pieter, thank you for your years of service, your dedication, and the great partnership. You leave behind a beautiful mission that we are proud to carry forward!
