The initial team was reinforced in February 2017 with two additional members.

The UU Fairtrade project was launched in October 2016 by three Sustainable Development students from Utrecht University with the support of the Green Office of Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Our goal is to promote the consumption of Fairtrade products within Utrecht University, apply and qualify Utrecht University for the 'Fairtrade Label', and raise awareness regarding production and consumption of Fairtrade goods.
