Get to know the AFD - Utrecht board 2021-2022! 🍀

Hello! I'm Urja, and I'm in charge of marketing and communication for the AFD Utrecht board this year. I am now pursuing my master's degree in Earth Structure and Dynamics at Utrecht University. Climate change and sustainability have always piqued my interest, but as a science student, I never had the opportunity to investigate the societal implications. I'm looking forward to learning more about how social entrepreneurship can help solve real-world problems at AFD, and I'm excited to be a part of spreading the message about the wonderful things we're doing.

Our partner Social Impact Factory Utrecht is looking for participants in their Sustainable Development Goals traineeship programme.

Are you studying or recently graduated? And would you like to gain (more) work experience while contributing to a sustainable and inclusive future? Apply now for the second edition of the SDG Traineeship, which starts September 6th! 🌍 🙌

The SDG Traineeship is created by SDG House Network and TheRockGroup (TRG). During the course of 15 weeks, you’ll be matched to an inspiring organisation within our network that fits you and your ambitions. Each of these organisations contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in their own, unique way. And by joining them in a team for 1 day a week, you’ll be helping them to get one step closer to completing their mission!

So, what’s in it for you? You’ll be gaining relevant work experience while creating a positive impact.
