SIW Internationale Vrijwilligersprojecten is een Nederlandse uitwisselingsorganisatie zonder winstoogmerk die internationaal vrijwilligerswerk toegankelijk en betaalbaar wil houden. Door onze samenwerking met een groot aantal betrouwbare organisaties verspreid over de hele wereld kunnen wij meer dan 2000 projecten in 70 verschillende landen aanbieden. Of je nu graag met mensen of liever met dieren

werkt, bij voorkeur je handen of juist je hoofd gebruikt, midden in een stedelijk gebied of in een afgelegen (natuur)gebied verblijft, bij SIW kan het allemaal! Wij bieden groepsvrijwilligerswerk (2-3 weken), vrijwilligerswerk op maat (3 weken tot een jaar) , European Voluntary Service (6 tot 12 maanden gesubsidieerd vrijwilligerswerk). Daarnaast hebben wij speciale projecten voor jongeren, families en vrijwilligers boven de 30 jaar.

We gingen in gesprek over hoe we de SIW-projecten tegen 2028 nog beter en interessanter kunnen maken voor jullie.

Making space for more voices is essential for the future of Europe 🧡

Anna, working in Communications / Eurodesk at Malmö Ideella, highlights the importance of advocacy within Erasmus+ Youth. Compared to the wider Erasmus+ programme, Erasmus+ Youth has been more inclusive, reaching a greater diversity of participants across its initiatives and projects.

Keeping a strong Youth chapter means ensuring that more young people can take part, share their perspectives, and actively influence policies, social life, and the future workforce of Europe.
