POCQunity Group Care Gatherings are back with new dates 💜

A shared space to explore what care and co-regulation in a group could look like. How do our bodies hold feelings? What wants to come out when words aren't enough?

Through dialogue, movement, and activities, we offer space to care for yourself and with others. We also invite your input to help shape what these gatherings could mean for us.

It's been a while and we know that, and we're sorry it's taken us this long to find the words.

We've been trying to figure out how to speak about what happened honestly, not quickly, because the mistake we made deserved more than a rushed response.

For those who felt hurt and those who felt seen: we see you. This is for you. This is where we've landed, and while we don't have a clean ending to offer, we're not leaving this hanging.

Tomorrow, Colored Qollective will join the Pro-Palestine Block during the WorldPride march. We march for the emancipation of all q***r people. Join us.

We strongly condemn the attack at Berlin Pride. We grieve the life lost and the 29 people injured, our hearts go to them, their loved ones, and the q***r community of Berlin.

At the same time, we refuse to let hate be weaponised against one community in the name of another, to let this tragedy become the cudgel to further dehumanise our Muslim communities and abandon our q***r Muslim siblings.

We can only overcome together.

We also hold close the words of Majed Abusalama on the attack and reflections on whose bodies are deemed grievable and on police violence at IQP.

We stand together with the victims and against hate in all its forms. Join us on Wednesday.

.hayfa shared something important on her stories recently, and these are her words.

We're holding space for them here because this pattern needs naming by the people living through it.

She's speaking to something we've witnessed too often: the quiet violence of hosts wielding privilege and social currency against trans women refugees, q***r asylum seekers, people without papers, the very people they claim to support. This isn't a call out of individuals, but we're also not keeping it vague enough for harm to hide. The pattern is real and we know who it affects.

To those who have lived this, you already know.

If you're hosting someone, or thinking about it, we're asking you gently but seriously to sit with this. What do you commit to when things get difficult? If you've caused this harm before, how will you repair it? Listening is where it starts, but don't let it stop there. Move it somewhere tangible: accountability, resources, changed behaviour

Color Block is a retreat for artists of color to share space and community: a place to work, play, experiment around movement, improvisation, health, and activism. It's curated by Joy Mariama Smith, with morning practice, studio time, light evening programming, and plenty of room to rest. Only about 20 spots, so it stays intimate.

This call is for a Dutch-language focus group. Below the information in Dutch ↓

Er komt een focusgroep speciaal voor lhbtiqa+ personen van kleur. Die is onderdeel van de landelijke Lhbtiqa+ monitor 2026 : een groot onderzoek van Movisie, Panteia en Ipsos I&O, in opdracht van de overheid. Colored Qollective helpt de oproep te verspreiden.

Goed is om te weten
🔸De lhbtiqa+ monitor wordt om de twee jaar uitgevoerd en biedt een belangrijk overzicht van de ervaringen en barrières waarmee lhbtiqa+-gemeenschappen te maken hebben
🔸 De monitor brengt de uitdagingen van lhbtiqa-gemeenschappen in kaart en beïnvloedt diverse sectoren van beleid tot actie, en van de overheid tot het maatschappelijk middenveld
🔸 Het is belangrijk dat lhbtiqa+-gemeenschappen van verschillende gemarginaliseerde identiteiten, waaronder lhbtiqa+-mensen van kleur, en onze intersectionele ervaringen grondig worden meegenomen in de monitor
🔸 Daarom organiseert Movisie deze focusgroep. Er zijn ook andere focusgroepen, elk met een eigen invalshoek
