🔍 What Works in Senior Digital Education?

Professionals are designing digital learning programmes for older adults but what approaches actually work in practice?

As part of the Digital Bridges Webinar Series, we are hosting a live online session that brings together insights from accessibility-focused initiatives and intergenerational digital skill programmes.

Een heel mooi einde! ✨

Met het afsluiten van 2025 hebben we ook onze digitale leersessies afgerond. In beide buurthuizen ontvingen onze senior deelnemers met trots hun certificaten na het voltooien van alle 7 modules. Het was prachtig om hun groei te zien — ze voelen zich nu een stuk zekerder in het gebruik van hun telefoon, het internet en WhatsApp, het organiseren van hun fotogalerij en zelfs het verkennen van AI!

We zullen onze wekelijkse dinsdagbijeenkomsten zeker missen, maar we zijn vooral blij dat onze deelnemers zich nu zelfverzekerder voelen in de digitale wereld. 💙

P.S. Op de laatste foto zie je onze geweldige projectcoördinator en manager die het enthousiasme van de deelnemers delen 😁

Onze laatste terugkomsessie in Buurtcentrum Hart Van Noord was een prachtige afsluiting! ✨ We hebben alle belangrijke digitale vaardigheden opgefrist die we tijdens de sessies hebben versterkt: basisvaardigheden op de smartphone, toegankelijkheidsfuncties, WhatsApp-gebruik en AI.

We sloten de bijeenkomst af met het invullen van een vragenlijst samen met onze geweldige deelnemers, gevolgd door een certificaatuitreiking – en natuurlijk een feestelijke taart om het helemaal af te maken 🥧🎉

✨️ Wat is AI eigenlijk?
We horen het overal, maar begrijpen we het echt? 🤖💡

Vandaag hadden we bij Bij de Buren de tweede ronde van onze AI-vaardighedensessie met onze lieve senioren. Samen ontdekten we wat AI betekent, hoe we het efficiënt kunnen gebruiken om informatie te vinden en ons dagelijks leven makkelijker te maken, maar ook hoe we alert kunnen blijven zodat we niet worden misleid door AI-gegenereerde beelden en informatie.

We sloten opnieuw af met een leuk spel: raden welke beelden door AI waren gemaakt.
