🤝 Stronger Together. Stronger United!

Ahead of the 2026 United Nations High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS, Y+ Global, Youth RISE, and Youth LEAD have developed a Joint Youth Statement calling for stronger commitments on youth leadership, health services, education, human rights, accountability, and sustainable funding.

We are inviting youth-led and youth-serving organisations from around the world to add their endorsement and join a growing coalition advocating for a Political Declaration that reflects the realities and priorities of young people.

Y+ Global joined youth-led organisations, civil society, government representatives, UN agencies, and regional partners at the Asia-Pacific Regional Dialogue on the Status of the Epidemic and Response ahead of the 2026 High-Level Meeting on HIV and AIDS.

Hosted by the กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand กระทรวงสาธารณสุข, Ambassade de France en Thaïlande สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย, and UNAIDS Asia Pacific, the dialogue brought together governments, civil society, and communities to reflect on the region’s progress, challenges, and priorities for sustaining momentum towards ending AIDS.

As Jeremy Tan, Regional Coordinator of Youth LEAD, highlighted during his remarks, the region already holds countless examples of youth leadership, innovation, and community-led best practices. The true test of leadership is measured by collaboration — by how governments, communities, youth-led organisations, and partners work together to build inclusive, accountable responses grounded in lived realities.

Y+ Global continues to advocate for the meaningful engagement of young people living with and affected by HIV in shaping policies, strategies, and decisions that impact their lives.
