Ten years ago, we launched the READY Movement with Y+ Global on a simple but radical idea: young people shouldn't just be consulted on decisions about their own health but they should help make them.
At , we saw how that idea has become policy. Dr Teles, representing Mozambique's Ministry of Health, described how six provinces have brought youth, government and service providers into one decision-making framework, using READY scorecards to turn youth voices into data, and data into better services.
As Malayah Harper from UNFPA put it: "HIV and SRHR are deeply entwined โ in programming, politically, and in our shared human rights grounding."
Young people don't experience their health in silos so it's important that the health services they access are integrated and youth-centred too.
