NYCHRP is a local education and advocacy group based in NYC that works to promote social, economic, and political alternatives that foster democracy and peace based on justice in the Philippines and for Filipinos in the diaspora today.

🗣Filipino Migrants Speak: A Grassroots Examination of the Global Compact on Migration 🗣

Join Migrante USA, Mission to End Modern Slavery (MEMS), and New York Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines (NYCHRP) for a story-sharing event on Filipino migration. This side event to the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) will center stories and testimonials that reveal the impact of Philippine migration governance on the lives of Filipino migrants, their families and communities, with attention to the structural factors that drive out-migration.
