Canadian Club of the Netherlands We support and connect Canadians (and Canada lovers) living in the Netherlands.

Founded in 1967, the CCN is a volunteer group who’s goal is to reach out to all Canadians in The Netherlands to help make their stay a wonderful experience. The CCN provides Social, Cultural, and Educational activities for Canadians residing in the Netherlands. Our events are open to both newly arrived and already settled Canadian individuals, couples and families. For more information of the CCN,

Dear Members and Friends of the Canadian Club of the Netherlands,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are writing to share an important update regarding the future of the Canadian Club of NL for the upcoming year.
After much consideration, we’ve made the tough decision to pause events for 2025. This wasn’t an easy choice, and it’s not a reflection of the enthusiasm and support we’ve always received from you. However, it’s become clear that without more volunteers, we can’t continue organizing events at the level you’ve come to expect.

The club needs individuals who are ready to take charge, take up leadership positions, and bring in fresh ideas. We’re looking for volunteers in event planning, marketing, communications, and leadership roles on the Board. This is a pivotal moment for the club, with an opportunity to shape its future and move it forward with new perspectives. Financially, the club is in a good place and the possibilities to realize your community driven initiatives are endless.

In 2025, we’ll focus on strengthening our foundation—building structure and preparing new volunteers to take on key responsibilities. When we resume in 2026, we’ll be better equipped to organize events like Canada Day, Thanksgiving, and any new ideas that come our way.

If you're interested in volunteering or taking on a leadership role, please get in touch at [email protected]. We also welcome any feedback or ideas on how we can improve moving forward.
Thank you for being a part of the Canadian Club of the Netherlands. We deeply appreciate your support over the years and look forward to coming together again in 2026.

Warm regards,

Derek, Dionne, Leon, Patrick, Sajeeta, and Ted
