Waqas Aslam’s journey didn’t follow the conventional path, and that’s exactly what makes it powerful. A TCF alumnus from Dr. Amir-ud-Din Trust Campus VI, Kasur, Waqas juggled tutoring, side jobs, and a 35 km daily commute to pursue his dreams. With TCF’s support, he continued his education at UET and kept moving forward. Today, as a Front-End Developer, Waqas reminds us that obstacles are just stepping stones.

Investing in the people who carry our mission forward 🌍
Earlier this month, TCF Netherlands hosted a comprehensive volunteer training session in Leiden: a 4-hour masterclass led by Marta Righetti (General Manager, Europe) and Nasrullah Tahir (General Manager, Global Development).

The session covered essential skills for sustainable chapter growth:
-Fundraising strategies and donor engagement
-Social media and branding guidelines
-Long-term planning and chapter governance

Since launching in April 2024, TCF Netherlands has grown to support 172 children at I.I.L Campus, Karachi. This training equipped the volunteer team for the next phase of impact.

Building strong chapters means investing in the people who make it possible.
