Happy to share some nice moments from the session
We immersed ourselves in the work of through a series of drawing exercises that helped us consider the fragile line between memory and reality and the constructed nature of the self.

We are excited to invite you to our life drawing session inside the exhibition 'Ouvrages de Dames' by

For two hours two models will pose while bathing in the pools of coloured light, acting out a choreography in the space that will contrast the abstract nature of Ariane's textile works. The drawing session will echo the colour and geometry of the works by allowing the audience to draw it in relation to the human body. It will also help consider themes of privacy, intimacy and vulnerability that occur when thinking about curtains and the naked body.

Come one, come all!🕵️‍♀️ Join us for a cosy afternoon drawing workshop where we will discover and re-discover the
upcoming exhibition at Das Leben am Haverkamp: MY ALL • A LOW BUDGET SPECTACLE by Luca Tichelman.

Using observational drawing and memory to unlock a state of ‘picturing’, we will take a closer look at Luca’s work, as well ourselves within the installation. Through guided drawing exercises we will consider ideas of the archive within the archive, the self within the self, and the drawing within the drawing, activating key themes of the exhibition such as mimicry, portraiture, the fragile line between memory and reality, and the constructed nature of the self.

All ages and abilities are welcome, but we will be giving some
precise instructions, so a desire to delve into your imagination and use drawing as a tool to access it is crucial.

This workshop is supported by Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, Gemeente Den Haag and Stroom Den Haag.

Announcing our next drawing session ‼️✂️🪭

Next Friday evening we’re participating in festival with in Nijmegen, bringing you a dynamic and playful life drawing workshop that experiments with the nature of what we consider ‘drawing’. We’ll introduce you to a method of drawing a model from life that uses drawing and collage, considering both detail and abstraction with each technique. Register at the link in our bio to attend!

As always, no need for any prior drawing experience, just an open mind and the desire to draw together from life. All ages are welcome. We focus on the moments of process rather than final outcomes. All materials are provided.

GARDEN LIFE DRAWING 🪴 Wednesday July 30 🪴 18:30-20:30 🪴 hosted in the community garden

Join us in Amsterdam for our last session of the summer. We’ll slow down for the evening, coming together to draw outside, making the most of the evening light and the warm weather.
You can expect a relaxed and intimate setting, 2 hours of drawing a model from life, the chance to meet new people, to spend two hours away from the world simply drawing what’s in front of you.

As always, drawing materials will be provided, and no pressure to create perfect drawings. We welcome all abilities and all ages; children, or those who don’t regularly draw are encouraged!

Was truly fun to experiment together with how we can draw sounds, translate words to drawings and drawings back into words. This Saturday, we invite you into the unique joyful colourful work of artist Niki de Saint Phalle 👩‍🎨

Together with and we’re hosting a life drawing session — in the cinema — inspired by her work, alongside a pre-premiere screening of the new film Niki de Saint Phalle, directed by Céline Sallette, starring Charlotte Le Bon ⭐️
