At last year’s Talent for Good Fair, we asked participants what makes events like this so valuable—and their answers say it all.

From meaningful face-to-face conversations to discovering organizations they hadn’t considered before, attendees highlighted how the fair opened new perspectives, ideas, and career paths in the peace and justice sector.

This year, at The Forum we’re taking it even further. Expect more workshops, panels, and keynote speakers designed to help you connect, collaborate, and gain practical, real-world insights.

Looking for a career that makes a difference? Join the Talent for Good Forum, expand your network, and meet the people and organizations shaping a better world.

: Elections, Legitimacy, and Protests in Serbia

On 30 April (17:00–19:00) in The Hague, we will host a conversation on democratic legitimacy, public trust, and civic mobilisation, with a focus on recent developments in Serbia.

As formal democratic institutions continue to function in many contexts, declining public trust raises a critical question: can elections still serve as a meaningful mechanism for change? In Serbia, student-led protests and broader civic mobilisation following the tragedy in Novi Sad have brought renewed attention to the credibility of democratic processes.

Together with the Serbian Diaspora in the Netherlands (11:52 Holandija) this edition of will bring students, practitioners, and community members together for an open, dialogue-driven exchange, alongside a small exhibition reflecting the protests.

Conversations don’t always go the way we hope...
💼 A job interview can feel tense.
👥 A team discussion may suddenly become sensitive.
🌍 Conversations about values, diversity, or social impact can easily turn uncomfortable.

This interactive workshop introduces the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), focusing on how language influences connection, understanding, and dialogue.

Using the metaphor of the “giraffe 🦒” and the “jackal 🐺,” participants explore the difference between reactive and connecting communication styles.

Through guided reflection and short exercises, you’ll practise:
👀 Distinguishing observation from interpretation
💭 Recognising emotional triggers
🗣️ Expressing yourself with greater clarity
🤝 Communicating more consciously

The workshop focuses on awareness and practical insight, helping you recognise communication patterns in everyday professional situations such as interviews, teamwork, networking, and conversations about values.

The session is facilitated by an experienced NVC trainer who works with professionals in international and multicultural environments. 🌍

📅 March 20
⏰ 14:00 – 16:00
Organised by JobOn and The Hague Humanity Hub
