Social Sciences Career Week

The Social Sciences Career Week is a week full of activities that helps students to get to know their future career possibilities.

The Social Sciences Career Week (SSCW) is the largest career-related event of Cedo Nulli, the faculty association of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB). It is also the largest career week for the social sciences in the Netherlands! The SSCW offers ambitious students from five different studies (Psychology, Pedagogical Sciences, Public Administration, Sociology and Managem

ent of International Social Challenges) and 21 different masters the opportunity to get to know and connect with many different companies and future employers. The SSCW 2025 will take place during the week of March 24th to 28th 2025!

As SPS-NIP (Student Platform of Psychology in the Netherlands), affiliated with NIP, we represent psychology students in the Netherlands and provide students with a platform for networking, information sharing. We organize multiple events and activities related to psychology education and careers every year. SPS-NIP aims to support and connect psychology students and promote their interests within the broader field of psychology in the Netherlands.

For over ten years, BridgeHead has been bridging the gap between what the government needs and what companies can provide. We assist businesses in understanding and solving of complex issues faced by government organizations, via monitoring, interpreting, and sharing political policy developments, legislation, and media. We provide advice on the impact of these developments on products and services, the market and partner strategy to pursue, and the implementation in account planning.

In this workshop, we will take you into the dynamics of today's The Hague by jointly developing a lobbying case from our own practice. What are the dynamics in parliament and within ministries, and how will the upcoming elections influence this?

Wat zijn de gevolgen van de nieuwe Europese Cyber Resilience Act voor ons in Nederland? Of wat is de impact van Artificial Intelligence op onze privacy? Deze vragen zijn voorbeelden van kwesties waar wij ons bij BridgeHead mee bezig houden. Al meer dan tien jaar slaat BridgeHead de brug tussen wat de overheid nodig heeft en wat bedrijven kunnen leveren.

Wij helpen bedrijven om complexe vraagstukken van overheidsorganisaties te begrijpen en een bijdrage te leveren aan de oplossing. Dit doen wij onder andere door politieke beleidsontwikkelingen, wetgeving en media te volgen, duiden en delen. Wij adviseren over de impact van deze ontwikkelingen op bestaande of te ontwikkelen producten en diensten, de te volgen markt- en partnerstrategie en de uitwerking in accountplanning. Zo brengen we innovatieve ideeën tot een succesvol partnerschap.

In deze workshop nemen we je mee in het reilen en zeilen van het Den Haag van vandaag. Wat zijn de verhoudingen in het parlement en binnen de ministeries, en hoe gaan de naderende verkiezingen dit beïnvloeden? Dit linken we vervolgens aan wat wij doen bij BridgeHead door samen een lobby-case uit te werken uit onze eigen praktijk.

Inzowijs is the springboard for a further career in healthcare. Everyone who works with us is an ambassador and can use his or her acquired experience, knowledge and skills as best as possible in youth care, in any (future) role.

Wij, medewerkers van PPO, zetten ons elke dag in voor kinderen in de Rotterdamse basisscholen. Veelzijdigheid, autonomie, werken vanuit een team van professionals, ondersteunend naar ouders en leerkrachten zijn termen die ons vak definiëren. We krijgen energie als we het in gezamenlijkheid voor elkaar krijgen dat kinderen zich fijn voelen in de scholen en tot ontwikkeling komen. Wij vormen met de Rotterdamse schoolbesturen voor primair en speciaal onderwijs het Samenwerkingsverband Passend Primair Onderwijs Rotterdam. Voor alle kinderen een passende onderwijsplek zorgen, regulier waar kan, speciaal als het moet en zoveel mogelijk in de eigen wijk, dat is onze opdracht.

Ook zetten we elke dag onze schouders onder het doel alle vormen van onderwijs (bao-sbo-so) inclusiever te maken, en streven we naar het voorkomen van uitsluiting.
