Er was eens … een meisje met autisme. Eentje van de zovelen. Er zijn er geen twee die hetzelfde denken, voelen, ervaren. Autisme is heel divers. Alleen lijkt het bij jongens nog steeds veel meer op te vallen, en glippen meisjes nog steeds te vaak door de mazen van het net. Onze dochter is er zo eentje. Maar als ze valt, dan zijn we er. Met zachte hand en hart. We dragen haar. Altijd. Want autisme draag je samen.

Good news for everyone, but especially for those with bowel- or bladder issues: as part of a larger campaign, 20 new public bathrooms are being installed in Dutch nature reserves. The bathrooms are sustainable and self-sufficient, and are wheelchair-accessible!

The Dutch Expert Centre on Inclusive Education (ECIO) is looking for exceptional ideas and best practices that contribute to the implementation of the UN convention in higher education and/or to the transition of students with disabilities to the labour market 🏆.

You can submit a project (your own or someone else’s) up to September 1. The award ceremony takes place on October 28. Winners will receive €5000.
