proudly congratulates our Advisor, Julita Oetojo, on successfully completing her PhD at the University of Bonn, Germany, and defending her dissertation with magna cm laude. 🎓✨

Through her research on ikat textiles in Eastern Indonesia, Julita has made a valuable contribution to the understanding of cultural heritage, artistic traditions, and material culture. Working closely with local artisans throughout her fieldwork, her research highlights the important role they play in preserving cultural knowledge and sustaining textile traditions across generations.

Over the past six years, Julita has grown with CCD-NL as both a volunteer and an Advisor. While her dedication and expertise have greatly enriched our organization, we are equally grateful that CCD-NL could be part of her journey by providing a space for intellectual exchange, professional development, and meaningful engagement with cultural heritage and communities.

We are proud to celebrate this remarkable achievement and wish her every success in the next chapter of her journey.

Congratulations, Julita! 🌷
