We wrapped up the project by focusing on dissemination and evaluation. Participants reflected on their journey, shared their learning outcomes, and planned how to spread the project’s message further within their communities.

Participants transformed their experiences into creative outputs by producing movies and designing brochures. They also visited a local school, where they shared their knowledge and raised awareness about environmental issues among young people. These materials and activities reflect the knowledge gained and aim to inspire others to take action for a more sustainable future.

We stepped into the community with street interviews and the Eco City Quest, interacting with locals and discovering real-life eco practices. These experiences led to hands-on ecological actions, turning ideas into meaningful impact on the ground.

Creativity took the lead as we used photovoice to capture real environmental stories in Madeira. We amplified our voices through a flashmob and inspiring TEDx-style talks, raising awareness and encouraging others to reflect on their role in protecting the planet.

We explored environmental issues affecting our communities through research sessions and dynamic debates. Participants shared perspectives, exchanged ideas and worked together in the Eco Echo Green Corner Workshop to better understand the importance of sustainable actions and critical thinking.

We started our youth exchange by getting to know each other through interactive non-formal activities, breaking the ice and building trust. These first days were all about creating a safe and open space, strengthening connections and forming a strong team ready to collaborate and grow together.

“Do Great Things Portugal” is looking for 7 Portuguese people (4 from mainland + 3 from Madeira island) - 18-30 years old - to take part in the Youth Exchange "Eco Echo” 🇪🇺

📌 Objectives: raise ecological awareness; promote sustainable habits through workshops, eco-actions, cultural exchange and community outreach.

📅 WHEN: 27 October - 8 November 2025 (INCLUDING TRAVEL DAYS)
📍 WHERE: Madeira Island, Portugal
✈️ Conditions: Food and accommodation covered by Erasmus + Program. Travel costs are reimbursed !!
