Two weeks left to join us at Fenix.

Erasmus Alumni Club heads to Fenix, the art museum entirely dedicated to migration. Explore the labyrinth of suitcases, hear migration stories from around the world, and take in the view from the iconic Tornado staircase, with an audio tour to guide you.

Afterwards, join us at Plein for talks by Anne Kremers, Director of Fenix, and our own Berfu Ege Sobe from the Positive Impact Circle on her upcoming book Impact by Design, followed by drinks with fellow alumni.

Op 31 augustus organiseert de Erasmus Alumni Club het traditionele Slotcollege in Trompenburg Tuinen & Arboretum, dit jaar verzorgd door prof. dr. Philip Hans Franses. Zijn college ‘Algoritmes’ gaat over de verbinding tussen econometrie en kunstmatige intelligentie.

Na de lunch gaan we door naar Campus Woudestein voor de feestelijke Opening van het Academisch Jaar 2026–2027, met dit jaar als thema Utopia? Building Resilient Societies. Op het programma staan onder anderen dr. Yashar Ghiassi-Farrokhfal, prof. Annelien Bredenoord, host Nizar El Manouzi en een optreden van Lady Bits, winnaar van het EURvision Song Contest 2026.

Je kunt je inschrijven voor het Slotcollege, de Opening, of allebei.

Het Slotcollege is in het Nederlands, de Opening van het Academisch Jaar is in het Nederlands met Engelse ondertiteling.

A big thank you to all the master’s and premaster’s students who joined our workshop at Eurekaweek Master Day! With over 60 students signing up for the workshop Meet the Network Before You Need It, we got to give them a glimpse of what the Erasmus Alumni Club can offer.

We loved seeing conversations happen across studies and faculties, exactly the kind of connections that don’t usually happen in a lecture hall. And with many new members joining on the spot, we can’t wait to welcome all these new faces at our upcoming events.

Summer Evening by the Maas ☀️🌊

On 2 July, Erasmus alumni gathered at L’Eau Lounge for an evening by the water with drinks, a BBQ and great conversations, all with a stunning view of the Erasmusbrug, Willemsbrug and the Rotterdam skyline. From familiar faces to first-timers at an Erasmus Alumni event, it was the perfect way to kick off the summer together as a community.

Good news! A limited number of spots have become available again for our Erasmus Alumni Summer Evening by the Maas, taking place tomorrow.

Join fellow Erasmus alumni for a relaxed summer evening at L’Eau Lounge. Enjoy a free BBQ, meet alumni from different graduation years and professional backgrounds, and spend the evening overlooking the Maas, the Erasmus Bridge and the Rotterdam skyline.

📣 Annual General Assembly 2026 | Erasmus Alumni Club

Join us on July 2nd for the Annual General Assembly of Erasmus Alumni Club at L’Eau Lounge in Rotterdam

This is the moment for our members to come together, reflect on the past year, hear about our plans for the future, and stay involved in the continued development of our alumni community.

The Assembly will take place from 17:00 to 18:30. Afterwards, the evening continues with the Erasmus Alumni Summer BBQ at the same location 🍽️

Please note that the Annual General Assembly is exclusively for members of Erasmus Alumni Club

The Summer BBQ is open to both members and non-members. A separate registration for the BBQ is required.

What a great evening at TU Delft with the Positive Impact Circle at The Green Village 🌱

We visited one of the Netherlands’ leading living labs for sustainable innovation, where researchers and innovators work on real-world solutions for energy, construction, climate adaptation, and urban development

We wrapped up with drinks and good conversations at Café X TU Delft, connecting with fellow alumni and reflecting on the visit.

📚 Looking for an interesting evening at Erasmus University?

On Tuesday 12 May, award-winning Dutch author Rob van Essen will join an interview at the Erasmus Paviljoen about his newest novel De grote schoonmaak.

The evening will explore themes of truth, memory, and the search for meaning through a surreal and captivating story.

After the event, there will be a book signing and book sale.

On April 8th, the Positive Impact Circle hosted an intimate French cooking workshop in collaboration with the Erasmus Sustainability Hub.

The workshop was fully vegan and led by the Erasmus Sustainability Hub team, who guided us through a hands-on evening exploring how creative and flavourful plant-based French cuisine can be.

Together we prepared and enjoyed a three-course meal, including a fresh salad, savoury quiche and chocolate mousse, all completely plant-based and made from scratch.

It was an evening full of cooking, learning and sharing a great meal together 🍽️

A big thank you to everyone who joined and to the Erasmus Sustainability Hub for the collaboration 🤝

We’re looking forward to more events like this across different circles within the community. Stay tuned for what’s next
