She signed her first professional contract with the team the following season and continued developing through the Rabobank-Liv / WM3 structure before joining Canyon//SRAM in 2018, where she has spent the majority of her professional career.

Kim Le Court-Pienaar, MSK 🎖️ second Tour de France Femmes stage win (25’ - Stage 5, 26’ - Stage 6) was 11 years and one remarkable comeback in the making.

From racing against boys in Mauritius to struggling through two early UCI road seasons in 2015-16 (with Bizkaia-Durango and Matrix-Fitness) she stepped away and spent seven years rebuilding through mountain biking.

In 2024, she asked teams for another chance. AG Insurance - Soudal cycling team said yes and she has signed through to 2028.

A Giro stage win in 2024 and 2025. 1st at LBL, a yellow jersey and a TDFF stage in 2025. Today, another victory on Stage 6 at Le Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

🇨🇭 's journey to the podium proves there is no single pathway to the top 🏆

Rather than following the traditional junior racing system, Reusser studied medicine and worked as a doctor before taking up competitive cycling in her mid-twenties. After joining the UCI World Cycling Centre 7 years ago, she quickly progressed through Bigla-Katusha / Équipe Paule Ka, Alé BTC Ljubljana, SD Worx, and now Movistar Team, where she has established herself as one of the world's best stage racers and time trialists.

Her story is a reminder that athletes can reach the highest level through many different pathways, and that it's never too late to chase big goals.

Four Continental seasons developing with Team Coop–Hitec/Coop–Repsol before earning a two-year WorldTour contract with Uno-X Mobility for 2026.

This pathway built towards a breakthrough 2026 WorldTour season securing Norwegian National Champion, top-20 finishes at La Vuelta and the Giro…then she rode solo for 88.5km to win Stage 3 of the Tour de France Femmes and became the first Norwegian to wear its yellow jersey 💛

Today we are going to miss two classified climbs, the fight for the breakaway.. that’s more than two hours / 70km+ of racing and storytelling all unseen until the live broadcast starts 😢

📺 Stage 3 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is 156.5km. The race starts at 13:25. CET, but live coverage does not begin until 15:45 CET.

By then, the riders are expected to have completed roughly 70–76km, almost half the stage; including:

⛰️ Col de la Faucille: 11.4km at 6.3% (Cat 1)
⛰️ Côte de Lajoux: 3.6km at 5.6% (Cat 3)

Women’s cycling has the audience and this race is the pinnacle of the sport.

Now it needs full start-to-finish coverage.

🔁 Reshare this post if you want to the UCI to show the whole race in 2027.

We are proud to have four TCA Rider Council members lining up at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift this week: Heidi Franz, Alison Jackson, Mireia Benito, and Hannah Ludwig💜

Each rider has taken a different path to the highest level of the sport, showing there is no single route to the WorldTour.

The reality of professional cycling is more complex than ever. Navigating contracts, team dynamics, career decisions, and life beyond racing takes guidance as well as experience. That's why mentorship matters.

As current or past mentors in The Cyclists' Alliance Mentor Programme (TCAMP), these riders are helping the next generation navigate the realities of the sport by sharing the lessons they've learned along the way.

Best of luck to all our members racing this week!
