πŸŽ‰ We, the DANP team, join the celebration today for Global Accessibility Awareness Day. While GAAD was originally on May 21, 2026, it was postponed for the past month until today. We are happy to share our belated greetings with this celebration today!

🌏🌐 Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is recognized in some countries. This day of celebrating accessibility awareness is incredibly important for creating a real impact across technology and digital platforms. It is a vital part of disability and Deaf accessibility rooted in fundamental human rights. You can visit the official website at www.accessibility.day to learn more about GAAD.

πŸ™‚ DANP is proud to host a historic first event: a webinar entitled β€œAccessibility Awareness: Supporting Deaf Filipinos Abroad in Daily Life.” This event is specially designed for Filipino Deaf immigrants residing in different countries outside of the Philippines. Please join us for this webinar on the weekend of June 27 and 28. See the link below for more information.

πŸŽ‰ We, the DANP team, join the celebration today for Independence Day.

πŸ“Š Our Filipino people are happy and proud of our Independence Day, celebrating our freedom from the Spanish and United States colonization in our history. Unfortunately, we still face daily struggles because the government does not always handle problems well or improve the system. However, we stand strong together and must work through our votes in the elections to ensure the system improves, rather than focusing on personal interests.

πŸ™‚ DANP witnesses many problems in our country. We will continue to hold events focused on advocacy, networking, and partnerships that are effective with the government. It is up to all of us to decide and use our vote to choose leaders who truly serve the Filipino people. Please keep updated with our announcements.

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ Happy Independence Day!
