What actually happened in PearUp?
7 days. 30 youth workers. 6 countries and 1 intention: to redefine leadership!

🚀A few questions we asked ourselves…
How to guide without taking up space from others?
How to create learning without giving all the answers?
How to actually offer a relevant, hands-on experience?

We practiced and challenged habits, mindsets, and we stepped into a space of peer-to-peer learning, collective intelligence, and a real community experience.

Get ready for possibly this summers biggest adventure - Out And About Youth Exchange!

🌳Out and About is all about learning by doing, together with others, caring for a shared space and letting your imagination run wild to create the ultimate outdoor activities.

In 10 days, you will create, play and experiment within an intercultural
group of 54 youngsters from 9 different countries.

🌿You will also:
- play and learn outside in different settings;
- create a common living space with the rest of the group;
- discover practical ways how to include yourself and others;
- create and organize games/activities for each other;
- go on a hiking /biking /rafting adventure in the Netherlands;
- share your learnings within an intercultural group;
- meet people from different backgrounds;
- have an unforgettable summer experience!

🌿We just closed TeamUp!
10 days, one group, countless memories, and an unforgettable adventure!

We came together as strangers, and walked away as a community: more aware of how we show up in group dynamics, more confident to speak up, and ready for the unexpected!

Through outdoor challenges, community living, and full-on learning by doing, we explored our strengths, stretched our teamwork muscles, and upskilled our inner leadership.

TeamUp was such an alive experience. And now, it lives on in every insight, every connection, every bold next step!

Wrapping up an amazing leadership experience, and wow, what a ride. 💥 Team building & cooperation games, outdoor challenges, embodied learning and of course a lot of practice to better show up for your people.

Our participants experienced leadership finding their own personal style, learning how to stay grounded even when things get chaotic…while having fun on the way!

Grateful for the challenges, the team, the late-night talks, the awkward moments that turned into lessons, and the shared growth. 🙌🌱 looking forward to the next program!

Success doesn’t look the same for everyone 💫
and that’s exactly the point.

For some, it’s about taking that first step they kept postponing for a while. For others, it’s about discovering new ways to connect, lead, or simply be present in their body. For some, it’s about stretching their limits in outdoor dynamic settings.

When we start a program, we drop our idea of success.

🌳 How come?
The reason is simple.

In our experience, we learned that the group comes first, and each group has a specific line of growth, individual needs and learning points that might be different from the outcome we first had in mind, and that’s great.

Working with so many different teams and international groups teaches us to grow as trainers and facilitators, and that’s part of the beauty of this job!

We’re starting Pear Up! In a couple of days and we couldn’t be more excited. Leadership for youth workers program: loading ✅

TeamUp is all about learning by doing, together with others, caring for a shared space, and exploring your role in the groups while solving the arising challenges on your journey!

You can expect 10 packed and dynamic days through which you will have the chance to design your own learning process. This experience also includes outdoor challenges - a chance to put into practice all your learnings while testing your cooperation skills.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆!

You might even spend 48 hours completely in nature, spending the night out or swimming in the river despite the bipolar Dutch summer weather! 🫠

An impactful project doesn’t come by coincidence.
Over the past 7 years, here in The Netherlands, we hosted people from all countries and ages, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟱𝟬+ 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 bonding through challenges, cooperation games, outdoor team-building and leadership in youth work.

🍃 Designing a learning context that invites participants to 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 is a skill that we developed over time, and we’re excited to share it in our outdoor training for trainers, which is coming up this year too.
