Thanks to the ESTEC facilities and catering teams — and everyone who chooses the recycling bin — ESA HRF has just received €8,300 from can recycling in just 8 months! These funds are critical for helping initiatives around the globe, including projects helping communities in Zambia, Congo, and beyond. Small can, big impact.

So if you’re at ESTEC, please remember to put your used drinks can into the recycling bin near the canteen and across the campus. Keep recycling. Keep supporting. Together, we turn everyday habits into life changing support. 🌍💙♻️

Clean Water for Bright Futures, empowering
marginalised Dalit Communities with Safe Drinking Water and Hygiene. We are facing water scarcity around the world and especially in remote villages like those! Women and children are the most affected ones as they need to walk kms to fetch water on a daily basis from unsafe sources!

In 2025 we founded 14 projects in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We see a growing number of requests related to water scarcity and borehole rehabilitation driven by increasing droughts, groundwater depletion, and infrastructure failures. This trend demands continuous support and rapid response. 🌱☘️💦
