Afgelopen vrijdag vond de opening van POST in de NYMA Watertoren plaats, tegelijk met de opening van onze nieuwe tentoonstelling Networks of Precarity. We kijken terug op een geslaagde avond met veel enthousiaste blikken, maar ook vol aandacht voor ons verhaal en voor de tentoongestelde werken van Ginevra Petrozzi, Jeroen van Loon en Latency.club. Wat een mooie avond!

Dank aan Noel Vergunst voor het openen van POST in de NYMA Watertoren en het verbinden van POST aan de regio, .bar voor het schenken van heerlijke drankjes en .nyma voor de fantastische pizza's die we van tevoren aten.

De tentoonstelling is geopend voor het publiek en we kijken uit naar jullie enthousiasme én kritische blikken. Hopelijk tot snel bij POST!

Heb jij ook behoefte aan een verdiepend gesprek over je werk? En wil je jouw werk onder de aandacht brengen bij internationale curatoren? Meld je dan aan voor het Professionals Programme.

Het Professionals Programme (voorheen Friendly Neighbours) is het uitwisselingsproject van POST, speciaal voor in Arnhem en Nijmegen gevestigde kunstenaars. Tijdens deze tweedaagse uitwisseling ga je met een groep regionale kunstenaars en drie internationale curatoren op stap. Ook zullen er studiobezoeken plaatsvinden met de curatoren. Voor deze derde editie ontvangen wij Margarita Osipian, werkzaam in het artistiek team van W139 en als programmamaker bij The Hmm, en het curatoren-duo van BURO Stedelijk: Jo-Lene Ong en Anouk van Amsterdam.

Het Professionals Programme vindt plaats op 𝟯 𝗲𝗻 𝟰 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗶𝗷𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻. Er zijn negen beschikbare plekken voor kunstenaars die gevestigd zijn in Arnhem en Nijmegen. Deelname voor studenten is niet mogelijk. Deelname is gratis. Spreektaal gedurende het programma is Engels. Beschikbaarheid op 3 en 4 december is noodzakelijk om deel te nemen aan het programma.

This is your last chance to experience the full Sonsbeek programme across all participating locations, as the exhibition comes to an end on 11 October.

But there’s good news if you haven’t made it to POST yet! The exhibition at POST, featuring works by and Korakrit Arunonandchai , remains on view until 13 December. So, if you’ve seen the works in Sonsbeek Park but haven’t visited POST yet, there’s still plenty of time. Or perhaps you’ve only seen part of the films and want to catch the rest?

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧: From 11 October onwards, POST Arnhem will be open Thursday–Sunday, 12:00–17:00. This is different from our opening hours during Sonsbeek 2026, as we return to our 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀*.

How can we restitch forgotten histories? How can stitching become a tangible act of resistance?

Join us for an afternoon of embroidery, screenprinting, conversation, and collective making with Lestari Bergerak.

Together, we’ll explore revolutionary cultural histories in Indonesia, drawing from the archive of LEKRA (Lembaga Kebudayaan Rakyat) and connecting these histories to struggles taking place today.

Participants will contribute to a collective patchwork banner through embroidery and screenprinting. You’re welcome to bring your own piece of fabric to add to the banner.

𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗦: 𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘀

How can commoning become a practice of resistance to the ongoing violences of coloniality? And how might collective practices of care, sharing, and organising help us imagine and build reparative futures?

Interplay of Commons is a 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 exploring commoning as a form of praxis, bringing together theory, embodied knowledge, collective learning, and action. All events can be participated in seperately!

Across three gatherings, research activists, cultural workers, social workers, and artists come together to explore how commoning takes shape in different contexts. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, we will learn from one another and consider how these practices can move with us into our everyday lives and communities.

This Friday, we'll celebrate our move to our new POST Nijmegen location, the NYMA Watertower, with the opening of our first exhibition there: Networks of Precarity. You are all invited to join us in celebrating POST’s new location, to enjoy a drink, and be among the first to see the exhibition Networks of Precarity.

Networks of Precarity, curated by focuses on the human dimension, bottom-up initiatives and magical traditions in our relationship with technology. With works by Ginevra Petrozzi, Jeroen van Loon and latency.club.

Earlier this month, we screened the Dutch premiere of The Last Responders, a new film by . We had the honour of being joined by Elliot Bourne, Research Coordinator at Forensic Architecture, and the Sonsbeek 2026 curatorial team.

Following the screening, attendees had the opportunity to speak with Elliot about the investigation method of Situated Testimony, and about the ways in which the film engages with memory and trauma, a theme that runs throughout Sonsbeek 2026, of which Forensic Architecture at POST is part.

A big thank you to for organising the event. For us, it also marked the first public event hosted in our newly extended space at POST Arnhem!

While The Last Responders is no longer on view, the work of Forensic Architecture remains part of the 'Sonsbeek 2026: Ik hoef geen tuin, ik deel een park' exhibition. The method of Situated Testimony also features in several of the other films currently on view at POST. At POST, the work of Forensic Architecture can be visited until late December.

As part of the exhibition Claiming the City: A Squatters’ Allegory, our final ECHO event at the Plu brought together many insightful conversations around squatting, the housing crisis, and the meaning of claiming space in the city.

A huge thank you to for moderating, to for sharing your depth and insights into the exhibition and your works, to for bringing your perspective, to the invited members of squatting collectives, and to everyone who came and contributed to the conversation.

Last Saturday, during Kunstnacht, we held our final event at . It was also the last opportunity to visit POST at this location.

For now, we’re in the process of moving our inventory to our new location at the NYMA Watertower, as well as to POST Arnhem.

POST at the NYMA Watertower opens in less than two weeks!
