militariseringswetten! Studentenstrijd = Klassenstrijd.

🟥 With the militarisation laws, politicians are trying to strip us of our rights and pave the way for
war. None of our rights has been granted to us without a struggle; they exist solely because
working people united together.
🟥 Join the union and fight against the militarisation laws! Student struggle = Class struggle.

Introducing this year's candidates!

#1 Jules Griebling

Hey!

Hi! My name is Jules, student of “Society, Language and Culture”. Last year, I represented AKKU in the Faculty of Arts Student Council. This year, I want to join the University Student Council!
Studying at Radboud is wonderful, but it can sometimes feel unfair. Students deserve a just and affordable university. The Sports Subscription is becoming more expensive every year and students don’t get a standard third chance when force majeure occurs.
I believe a fair and just university is very important, and AKKU has been fighting for this for years. After all, the university also earns its money from the students. I’m also active in the climate movement, where I’m fighting for climate justice!
Our university could become an even better place, that's why you should vote for AKKU!

Introducing this year's candidates!

#2 Aniek Harmsen

Hoi!

Hi! I’m Aniek and I’m studying history. I love theatre and singing, and secretly I’m also really passionate about my studies. I’m currently in my second year and last year I had the opportunity to get involved in student representation through the Program Committee (PC), which I found really valuable. My role in the PC has made me realise just how much I value having a voice at our university.
I think it’s fantastic to study at this university, but that’s precisely why I believe it’s important that the quality of our education remains intact, especially at a time when propaganda and AI are ever-present. The student perspective is indispensable to the university’s board, and I hope that in the upcoming campaign we can convince as many students as possible to make their voices heard.

Introducing this year's candidates!

#3 Lina Minne

Hi! I'm Lina, a second-year Political Science student. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of serving as chair of the Political Science Programme Committee, where I witnessed firsthand how hard budget cuts hit students. This must stop. I will continue to fight against cuts that directly (and negatively) affect students.
Additionally, I want to advocate for inclusive education. Education must be physically, mentally, and financially feasible. This means that a disability, personal circumstances, or (socio-economic) background should not be an obstacle to successfully completing a degree. The mental well-being of students must be a top priority.
Vote for a just university, vote AKKU!

Hoi!
