Summer break is almost over and do not fret, because the Guild is making a fresh start in September with fun activities for old and new faces alike!

*⚔️September 3rd: TTRPG*
Have you always been curious about DnD but not sure yet? Join our TTRPG night where we will play one evening adventures with beginner friendly systems!

*🖼September 10th: Bob Ross workshop*

A bit of this and a splash of that and tadaa a beautiful landscape has arisen from canvas and paint.
Remember we do not make mistakes but create happy little accidents!

*⛪️September 17th: Blood on the clocktower*
A demon has arrived in our lovely village and only you all can stop it! This night we will play the social deduction game ‘blood on the clocktower’.

If you enjoy the game called ‘Werewolves’? Then you should definitely try BotC!

_This event will probably at the ‘Maranathakerk’ next door to us, more information will follow._

*🎨September 24th: Glow Up craft night*
On Tuesday November 10th the 2nd edition of GlowUp will take place. To prepare for this event we are going to craft decor and items!

Of course boardgames and chill sessions are allowed as well.

Last time at the Guild we had special guests.

The Mahjong association 'de gouden draak' (https://goudendraak.com/) visited the Guild to teach us the fundamentals of Mahjong.

Tiles were stacked, strategies were devised and a good time was set into place.

Besides Mahjong there were also boardgames, wargames, magic and much more things going on.

We had a great time and we hope to see you after our summer break (August) on the 3rd of September.

This time at the Guild it was time.. to du.. du.. du.. du.. duel!

We had a TCG night, which meant you could bring your favorite cards and decks of Pokémon, magic, yugioh or other and trade, play and admire to your heart (of the cards) content.

As mana was pooled, pokéballs were thrown and traps were set combatants fought out their duels in style.

Ofcourse you could also play games, paint some cool minis and even fold paper in origami style.

We had an amazing evening and we hope you had one too.

This time at the Guild it was.. Folding Time!

Our very own chairman Rick delighted us with a origami workshop!

From dragons to knights and much more, if you had paper you could make it this evening.

Besides the potential papercut onslaught people also played boardgames like 'dominion', 'klootzakken', painted minis, played outside with waterguns and perhaps a game of poker was going on in a backroom.. we'll never tell.

We had an amazing evening and we hope you too.

*🌞August is Summerstop at the Guild⛱️*

Dear Guildies in August the Guild will have it's summerstop This means that there are NO official Guild activities at the FNV.

This however does not mean that you cannot organise things amongst yourselves. It is encouraged even.

Lieve Guildies in Augustus heeft the Guild zomerstop. Dit betekent dat er géén officiële activiteiten zullen plaats vinden bij de FNV

Dit betekent niet dat jullie zelf geen activiteiten kunnen organiseren. Sterker nog dit wordt zelfs aangemoedigd.

Fijne zomervakantie en in September zien we jullie graag weer!

Last saturday the Guild had a deviously good event.. it was the Night of Deceit!

People were welcomed at the library Mariënburg ( ) to play some social deduction games.

Murders were solved with a game of live clue where they had to interact with actors and find clues spread throughout the library.

Another option to play was Blood on the Clocktower where townspeople had to find a demon hidden amongst them.

And ofcourse this night wouldn't be complete without a classic game of werewolves around a 'campfire'.

Mysteries were solved, killers were found and minds were exploded on this night!

We were very happy that so many of you showed up and ofcourse we had a bloody good time!

We hope to see you again Thursday the 9th of July for a origami workshop.

Last time at the Guild..

We had a very special D&D night as we played D&D for science!

By filling out surveys, playing a oneshot and filling out more surveys we did our scientific duty and helped the Radboud university with their research!

Ofcourse we were also open for fans of boardgames and other things which were enjoyed as well.

We had a bloody good time.. maybe a bit too bloody for some player characters.. and we hope to see you either the 4th of July at Night of Deceit (check our other posts!) or next week, the 9th of July, for Origami night!

Previous time at the Guild..

The weather was hot but we helped you all out by supplying cool games on our boardgame night.

Not only that, we also had some special guests: paid us a visit with their camera crew as they are going to make an item about the Guild. So keep them in mind!

Ofcourse a lot of boardgames were played, magic was in full course and there was even some artsy crafty stuff going on.

We had another amazing night and we thank you, our guests and especially the AC unit that kept our heads cool.

We hope to see you July 2nd with D&D for Science!
Do remember that the D&D is by signup due to sciency reasons, but you can always come and play boardgames or chill.

Last week at the Guild the weather was hot and we went outside for a picnic.

Games were played, frisbees were thrown (and lost), water guns were loaded and there were even some lightsaber duels!

For the people who wanted to be cool the building was ofcourse open and the airconditioning was set to high.

We had a great time and we hope to see you next time at a good old boardgame night.

Note: there will be recordings for an item about the Guild, so if you want to stay 'off the grid' we can not ensure that next week.
