It does so by sending students on observational internships in hospitals in Ghana, Uganda or Mozambique while supporting them on every step of their way.

The Medicine Project offers third year medical students the amazing opportunity to go on a medical internship in a hospital in Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique or Uganda. The Medicine Project is a national project by AIESEC the Netherlands that aims to provide third year (and further) medicine students with the opportunity to expand their scope by experiencing healthcare and culture in a different part of the world. In the Netherlands by providing a preparation and reintegration programme and abroad by connecting them to the respective local AIESEC entities. For Medicine students of second year or higher we offer you an opportunity to go on exchange and shadow doctors throughout their procedures!
6 weeks, 5 days a week in hospitals while the weekend is reserved for exploring the sorroundings!!!⛰️

Through the AIESEC fee, you will be provided with:
- airport pickup
- accomodation
- local guide
and you will be assigned to a group of other medicine students!!!
