Medicine Project It does so by sending students on observational internships in hospitals in Ghana, Uganda or Mozambique while supporting them on every step of their way.

The Medicine Project offers third year medical students the amazing opportunity to go on a medical internship in a hospital in Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique or Uganda. The Medicine Project is a national project by AIESEC the Netherlands that aims to provide third year (and further) medicine students with the opportunity to expand their scope by experiencing healthcare and culture in a different part of

White saviorism is not always obvious. It can appear in well-intentioned actions, volunteer work, medical exchanges, and the way we speak about or represent communities abroad.

It is essential to move away from the idea of “helping” or “fixing” communities, and instead approach every experience with humility, respect, and a willingness to learn.
