Kent Wing Air Cadets
Huge congratulations to the 17 cadets from across Kent Wing who pushed through tough conditions this weekend to successfully complete their Blue Road Marching Badge at Exercise Eagle Gauntlet!

Their hard work, determination, and teamwork paid off, with every single one of them officially earning their Blue Road Marching Badge. Marching through challenging weather and tricky terrain is no small feat, but these cadets showed true resilience from start to finish.

Kent Wing were honoured to have the LaSER Region Road Marching Officer, Sqn Ldr Wendy White, join us in support. Sqn Ldr White commented: "It is great to be at the very beginning of the cadets' road marching journey and see them join the Road Marching club."

A massive thank you to Sqn Ldr White and our dedicated adult volunteers and staff for providing event support, logistics, and encouragement along the route to keep the team moving safely.

Vierdaagse Nijmegen 2026 ✅

And that’s it for another year, another 100% completion rate for the Kent Wing cadets, and what an incredible job they did!

Congratulations to CWO Callaghan-Jarvis, CWO Groombridge, Sgt Fidler and Cpl Watson who represented Kent in the L&SER Road marching teams, another great week of walking.

Three first time medals were given out apart from CJ, who now has a crown on her medal for completing the 4-day march for a second time PLUS she earned the team medal for her team (voted for by the rest of the team for a team member who showed exceptional performance and teamwork). Well done CJ! 👏

It wasn’t just the cadets out there this year, our road marching staff were also out there walking and supporting the teams with any issues they may have had. A lot of hard work has been put in by all the staff over the last 6 months to get all the LASER cadets to where they are today so a huge thank you to all the staff!

Well done to everyone, either walking or supporting, you’ve done Kent Wing proud yet again 🙌
