๐โค๏ธ How will your organization celebrate life this September?
On Sunday, ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, funeral professionals, cemeteries, crematoria, memorial parks, and communities around the world will unite for the 15th edition of The World United for Life - a global initiative created by ALPAR โ The Latin American Association of Cemeteries and Funeral Services and supported by FIAT-IFTA.
For fifteen years, organizations across the globe have transformed this day into a celebration of remembrance, community, and hope. More than 413 organizations in 228 cities across 43 countries have already taken part, inspiring millions of people through meaningful local events.
Now it's your turn.
There is no single way to participate. Every organization is encouraged to create an activity that reflects its community and values. You could organize:
๐ณ A tree-planting or environmental project in memory of loved ones
๐ฏ A tribute ceremony or candle-lighting event
๐จ An art exhibition, concert, or cultural performance celebrating life
๐ค Educational talks, workshops, or grief awareness sessions
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Activities for families, children, or even pets
๐ A community walk, sports event, or wellness activity
๐ฌ A remembrance wall where people can share messages and memories
๐ฑ An online campaign inviting your community to celebrate and remember together
and many more!
Whether your event is in person, online, or hybrid, every activity becomes part of a worldwide movement that reminds us of the importance of remembrance, compassion, and human connection.
