We have just wrapped up the first, highly intensive day of NECROEXPO 2026 in Kielce, Poland 🇵🇱— the largest and most important gathering of the funeral industry in the country. This year’s edition brings together 140 exhibitors from across the sector.

It is already clear that this is not just a trade fair, but a powerful snapshot of a rapidly transforming industry. New technologies, shifting family expectations, and evolving standards of care are actively reshaping the way funeral services are designed and delivered.

Katarzyna Supa, Editor-in-Chief of THANOS magazine, had the honor of serving on the jury selecting the most outstanding trade fair products. The winners will be revealed on the final day of the event.

The funeral profession is changing faster than ever and in June 2026, Düsseldorf, Germany 🇩🇪 will become one of the places where its future is discussed, challenged, and shaped.

🌐 From 4–6 June 2026, BEFA FORUM returns as one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the funeral and cemetery sector. More than 250 exhibitors, 25,000 m² of exhibition space, and thousands of professionals from over 40 countries make it a true global meeting point for exchange, innovation, and business.

This year’s programme brings forward some of the most pressing questions facing our profession today:

Today, Funergal 2026 opens its doors in Ourense, Spain 🇪🇸 (21–23 May), bringing together professionals for its 13th edition at Expourense. This year’s edition features 44 exhibitors from 10 countries (Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, and Portugal), alongside a growing international audience of professional visitors, with particularly strong participation from Portugal 🇵🇹.
