Our Healthy Arts multiplier events have been taking place across the community, bringing creativity, connection and wellbeing to new spaces.

Our wonderful volunteers have been hosting events where attendees have been able to get a flavour of the Healthy Arts activities, experience creative wellbeing sessions and learn more about the project and its impact.

From conversations and creativity to shared experiences and laughter, these events are helping to spread the message that art can be a powerful tool for wellness, confidence and connection.

We are proud to see our volunteers continuing the journey by sharing their skills, encouraging others to get involved and helping to keep the project alive within the community.

Together, we hope to continue spreading the word of wellness through art and inspire more people to explore creativity as a form of self-expression and wellbeing.

On the final day of the Healthy Arts conference, youth participants from across all partner countries came together for a powerful closing session led by Asociación Iniciativa Internacional Joven

Through creative activities, they explored and expressed their emotions in different forms, working in groups to develop and perform their final pieces to their peers. Their performances were engaging, moving and held captivated.

We also took time to reflect and celebrate the journey we’ve shared and everything we’ve learned about wellbeing through the arts. Strong bonds were formed across the project, reflected in the many heartfelt goodbyes and words of appreciation.

As the programme comes to a close, we remain committed to keeping its learning and impact alive in our ongoing work.

Last week marked the second and final day of the Healthy Arts conference, where project coordinators came together to reflect on the programme as a whole.

It was a valuable space to share learning, celebrate successes and explore key insights for the future. Partners reflected openly on what worked well and what can be strengthened moving forward, with a shared commitment to keeping the ethos of Healthy Arts alive within our ongoing work.

We leave the programme with stronger connections, meaningful learning and a continued focus on building on its impact.

Yesterday, our young people truly wowed us with an incredibly powerful live performance at the final Healthy Inclusion through Art conference. 🎭✨

Through acting, music, dance, painting and storytelling, the performance explored the reality of emotional distress faced by many young people and the difference that creativity, companionship and safe support spaces can make.

The piece showed young people finding connection, confidence and hope through art, while also highlighting the reality that without support, some young people can continue to struggle in silence.

It was an emotional and courageous performance that deeply touched all of the partners and guests in the room. We are so proud of every young person who took part and shared such an important message with such courage, so openly and honestly.

We ended the performance with lots of hugs, celebration and pride for how far the young people have come throughout this journey together.

Yesterday, the first part of the day at the final Healthy Inclusion through Art conference in Málaga was truly special.

There was so much powerful learning shared as our partners and young people came together through panel discussions to reflect on their journeys, what they have learnt throughout the project, and why it is so important for services to shape and deliver youth programmes that prioritise creativity, art, emotional wellbeing, and safe spaces for expression.

It was inspiring to hear honest conversations around the impact that creative engagement can have on confidence, connection, identity and mental wellbeing for young people across communities.

We were also honoured to welcome guest speakers including Dr Pablo Fernández-Berrocal, Professor of Psychology, who shared valuable insight into emotional intelligence and the importance of emotional wellbeing within youth development.

A huge thank you to all of our partners, speakers, facilitators and young people who made these discussions so meaningful.

More to come soon as we share highlights from our incredible youth performances… 🎭🎶

The tool testing phase of the Healthy Arts project was one of the most engaging parts of the project, giving partners the chance to deliver activities directly with young people and gather real-time feedback.

This journey led us to our final activity, a collective artistic creation shaped by everything we had learned. For Go-Woman Alliance Europe, a key focus was helping individuals explore what wellbeing means to them, recognising it is different for everyone.

The final session was a powerful experience, creating space for reflection and creativity. Many participants shared how impactful and life changing the journey had been; scroll to read their words.

This is what Healthy Arts is about, expression, connection and understanding wellbeing in your own way.

As part of our role within the project, Go-Woman Alliance Europe has created and delivered the third newsletter, sharing key updates and insights from across the programme.

This month’s edition focuses on news and initiatives across Europe that support and recognise women in finance, highlighting the growing work being done to promote financial inclusion and equality.

We also take a first look at our upcoming training modules, designed to build confidence, strengthen knowledge and support women in making informed financial decisions.

This is the third of five newsletters, created to share key messages, reflect progress and connect our wider community with the project as it develops.

Discover how creativity can support emotional clarity 🎨

A new article on the Healthy Arts platform shares My Inner Landscape, a session delivered in Spain by with AIIJ, where participants explored their emotions through painting.

By focusing on expression rather than skill, individuals were able to reflect, connect and better understand their feelings, with clear reductions in stress and improved wellbeing.
