We are dedicated to conserving and maintaining healthy seas and attractive coasts for both people and nature.

The Coastal & Marine Union (EUCC) is an association with 2700 members and member organisations in 40 countries. Founded in 1989 with the aim of promoting coastal conservation by bridging the gap between scientists, environmentalists, site managers, planners and policy makers, it has grown since then into the largest network of coastal practitioners and experts in Europe, with 15 National Branches

and offices in seven countries. Our working area is Europe, the Mediterranean and Black Sea and other neighbouring regions. Furthermore, Coastal & Marine Union (EUCC) has joint forces with The ECNC - European Centre for Nature Conservation and Centro Mediterráneo EUCC by establishing the ECNC Group (www.ecncgroup.eu)

At Deltapark Neeltje Jans in Zeeland, The Netherlands, you can explore the stunning world of coastal nature through the long-running exhibitions by Vereniging Kust & Zee / Coastal & Marine Union (EUCC). The highlight this spring is our exhibition Biodiversity of the Dutch Coast — a colorful dive into the lives of fish, marine mammals, shellfish, seabirds, and many other fascinating coastal species.

Don’t miss the remarkable waste art by Wim Boer, created entirely from materials found along the Dutch coastline. These impressive sculptures have been part of Neeltje Jans for over 10 years, reminding us how art and awareness can go hand in hand.

🌊 Inspiring times at the 3rd International Mediterranean Coastal Erosion and Climate Change Adaptation Conference 2024 in beautiful Malta! 🌍
