Labyrint is the only study association for psychology students in Leiden and has about 2000 members.

Een studievereniging is een vereniging speciaal voor studenten van één studie. Voor bijna alle studies in Leiden bestaat wel zo'n vereniging. In tegenstelling tot een studentenvereniging, waar mensen van allerlei studies lid zijn, zitten er aan het lidmaatschap van een studievereniging over het algemeen minder verplichtingen. Zo bestaat er voor een studievereniging geen ontgroening of KMT (KennisM

akingsTijd) en ben je niet verplicht om eens in de zoveel tijd aanwezig te zijn bij bepaalde activiteiten. Bovendien werkt een studievereniging niet met disputen of jaarclubs, wat de meeste studentenverenigingen wel hebben. Waar het bij de meeste studentenverenigingen vooral draait om gezelligheid, biedt een studievereniging daarnaast ook nog de mogelijkheid om je meer met je studie bezig te houden, door het organiseren van studiegerelateerde activiteiten. Een studievereniging heeft dus een lossere en meer vrijblijvende structuur, maar biedt net als een studentenvereniging wel veel gezelligheid en de mogelijkheid om andere studenten te leren kennen!

[DUTCH] Doe me aan deze unieke cursus van Labyrint, in samenwerking met Blaauwberg, en leer Leiden en haar omliggende regio beter kennen. Vanuit verschillende invalshoeken zoals sociologie, psychologie, economie, geschiedenis en beheer, ontdek je hoe onze stad en samenleving in elkaar zitten.
Krijg nieuwe inzichten in hoe mensen, gemeenschappen en instituties elkaar beïnvloeden. Ontdek hoe consultants complexe vraagstukken analyseren en tot waardevolle adviezen komen. Je leert academische theorie niet alleen kennen, maar deze ook direct toe te passen op de uitdagingen en kansen die spelen in Leiden.

De Formatiecommissie van Labyrint zoekt nieuwe leden!

Unfortunately only Dutch speaking members can join the Formationcommittee, because all the relevant reference works are in Dutch.

Lijkt het jou leuk om dit collegejaar een belangrijke rol te spelen in de toekomst van Labyrint? Wil je meedenken over wie het nieuwe bestuur wordt, wil je leren hoe een sollicitatieprocedure wordt opgesteld en uitgevoerd en lijkt het je leuk om samen te werken met verschillende leden? Solliciteer dan voor de Formatiecommissie!

Als lid van de Formatiecommissie ga je aan de slag met een van de meest impactvolle taken binnen de vereniging, namelijk het samenstellen van het Kandidaatsbestuur van Labyrint! Je voert sollicitatiegesprekken, bespreekt profielen en denkt kritisch na over wat Labyrint nodig heeft in een bestuur.
Hierbij werk je samen in een commissie met vier anderen, jouw mening telt dus echt mee!

De commissie begint ongeveer half oktober en de piek vindt plaats in februari tot en met eind april. Er komen dit jaar een aantal plekken vrij. Wij zijn op zoek naar:
- Eén oud bestuurslid
- Eén adviesraadlid
- Eén extern lid
- Eén actief lid

Every five years, Labyrint organises a special Lustrum Trip outside Europe. With the next Lustrum Trip approaching, it is time to start preparing for the Lustrum trip. We are looking for some enthusiastic members who want to be part of the team behind it!

Because a trip of this scale requires a lot of preparation and many things need to be arranged well in advance, we are opening the first round of applications for the Lustrum Trip Committee. By applying now, you have the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and make an important decision: where are we going? 🌏✈️

Applying now gives you the opportunity to join the committee from the start, but a spot cannot be guaranteed for everyone who applies in this round. If you are not selected during this round, there may still be an opportunity to apply for one of the additional positions in September.

We are looking for motivated members who want to take responsibility, contribute ideas and work together to organise this trip!

[DUTCH BELOW] September is the start of the academic year, and we are kicking it off well! There will be multiple General Assemblies where the final report of Board 79 will be voted on, the brand-new Policy of Board 80 will be discussed, and the official Board Change will take place. It is time to say your goodbyes to Board 79 and give a warm welcome to Board 80!
We have many exciting activities coming up. Some will start off the new year, such as the Common Room warming, committee interest drinks, and the kick-off drinks. Others are there to finish off last year, like the long study trip reunion. Do you want to get involved, boost your skills, and help organize fun or study-related events? Then be sure to join a committee that suits you!
For first-year students: The First Years Weekend is just around the corner! This is an unforgettable trip full of fun games, new friendships, and so much more. It is the absolute perfect start to your student life!
We hope to see you all there! :)

[DUTCH] September is de start van het academisch jaar, en we trappen het meteen goed af! Er komen meerdere Algemene Ledenvergaderingen aan waarin gestemd zal worden over het eindrapport van Bestuur 79, het gloednieuwe beleid van Bestuur 80 zal worden besproken en de officiële bestuurswissel zal plaatsvinden. Het is tijd om afscheid te nemen van Bestuur 79 en Bestuur 80 een warm welkom te heten!
We hebben veel spannende activiteiten op de planning staan. Sommige om het nieuwe jaar in te luiden, zoals de Common Room warming, de commissie-interesseborrels en de kick-off borrels. Andere zijn er juist om vorig jaar af te sluiten, zoals de reünie van de lange studiereis. Wil jij je inzetten, je vaardigheden een boost geven en helpen bij het organiseren van leuke of studiegerelateerde evenementen? Zorg er dan voor dat je lid wordt van een commissie die bij jou past!
Voor eerstejaarsstudenten: Het Eerstejaarsweekend staat voor de deur! Dit is een onvergetelijke reis vol leuke spellen, nieuwe vriendschappen en nog zoveel meer. Het is de absoluut perfecte start van je studententijd!
