💡 Partner morning at PLNT

Every first Thursday of the month we welcome startups for our free partner morning at PLNT. Between 9-12 am you can ask our partners advice on patents, insurances, funding and more!

This Thursday, June 4th our partners NLO | European patent and trademark attorneys, Simtra Verzekeringen, TeekensKarstens advocaten notarissen, , Nelisca and .nl welcome you at the partner walk-in.

You can simply walk in, no appointment needed.

Startup INFECTA had the opportunity to speak at the Tech Talk of Leiden Bio Science Park! 🚀

During the talk, COO Ingrid de Visser Kamerling shared how INFECTA is accelerating the development of drugs and vaccines for infectious diseases. 💊

Infectious diseases do not stop at borders. Gateway Bio, participant of the unlock_ cohort 2026–2027, has won both the Audience Award and the Rough Diamond Award during the finals last Tuesday evening.

The biotech startup aims to tackle antibiotic resistance with a novel drug delivery system.

🔬 What if your PhD idea could become a startup?

Katarina, co-founder of GlycoDiagnostics, joined the online course Ready to Start all the way from Copenhagen. During her PhD she discovered the world of entrepreneurship and how exciting it can be to turn research into a real business.

After completing the course, she moved back to Leiden where she got some funding for the realization of the project and now she is building a real company.
