Founded in 1980, Make-A-Wish is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, having granted more than 615,000 wishes in nearly 50 countries and territories worldwide. Every 25 seconds, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness and becomes eligible for a wish. Wish experiences can restore the childhood stolen by a critical illness diagnosis and improve physical, psychological and e

motional well-being. Together with generous donors, supporters, staff and more than 27,000 volunteers around the globe, Make-A-Wish brings the power of a wish-come-true to children and their families when they need it most.

What does it feel like to be a parent of a child living with a critical illness? Andrés and Jocelyn describe the impact of their son Vicente's rare immunodeficiency and the grueling treatment that kept them separated from him. Once Vincente was well enough, his wish to be a firefighter was granted, and his parents were finally able to see their son's joy and hope for the future.

10 children had their wishes granted at the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday. 🎉 They travelled with their families from Belgium, Greece, Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United States to attend the match in Budapest. Congratulations to PSG - Paris Saint-Germain for the win!

The wish experience went far beyond attending the match. It included a morning at the Champions Festival in a dedicated UEFA chill zone with engaging activities, followed by a pre-match evening hosted at the PlayStation hospitality.

This season, together with PlayStation and UEFA, we also granted a total of 37 wishes for children living with critical illnesses who got to attend exceptional Champions League matches across Europe with the opportunity to watch their favorite player from close during the pre-match warmup.

An unforgettable wish journey that will leave these children and their families with lifelong memories that celebrate hope, joy, and the impact of this extraordinary partnership.

Adarsh's wish to meet his favourite cricket player, Rohit Sharma, came true 🙌🏏

Every parent’s greatest wish is for their child’s well-being. "I was excited thinking that my son would recover faster after meeting his hero" said Adarsh's father. Adarsh lives with a heart defect, and had to wait until he'd recovered from surgery for his wish to come true.

For Adarsh and his family this was more than a meeting, it was a moment of hope and
joy that they will carry with them forever.

Godzilla-obsessed Kai Kai's wish came true 🦖 At just 4-years-old, he has completed his treatment for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and it was his love of Godzilla that helped him through it. To Kai Kai, represents strength and would give him an escape from his reality as he'd reenact his favourite scenes at the hospital. Make-A-Wish Taiwan 喜願協會

Due to Carla's health, she can't can't play her favourite sport; soccer. But this hasn't dimmed her joy of watching others play. 14-year-old Carla lives with moyamoya disease, a vascular disorder that increases her risk of cerebral hemorrhage.

Her number one player is Jamal Musiala, and meeting him became her biggest wish. This wish came true when Carla was invited to watch the FC Bayern professionals train up close before meeting the whole team ⚽️💙

This , we're sharing Keoni's wish 💙

8-year-old Keoni is from Switzerland and his wish was to go to Scotland on holiday with his family. But it was so much more than a holiday. It was precious time spent together, made extra special by a trip to the beach, which wouldn’t have been possible without an accessible wheelchair.

Keoni lives with pulmonary hypertension, a serious condition that causes high blood pressure in the blood vessels connecting the heart and lungs. Hot weather can worsen symptoms, but the cooler climate in Scotland made it the perfect holiday destination.

His parents told us: "We are deeply grateful that we could create such wonderful memories with all our children."

Thank you Make-A-Wish Switzerland and Make-A-Wish UK for working together to make this wonderful wish come true.

In the run up to Mother’s Day, our Women for Wishes programme created space for a powerful and personal conversation about leadership, legacy, and purpose.

Hosted by our LATAM Regional Director, Camila, the Wish Talk brought together former board member and Executive Chairman at Turtle, Jayne Millard, and her daughter Beatrice Clark, Vice President of Sustainability and Social Impact at Turtle.

Jayne and Beatrice reflected on a family legacy of women in leadership, the distinctive contributions women leaders bring, and their deep connection to the Make-A-Wish cause.

Heartfelt thanks to Jayne and Beatrice for so openly sharing their time, wisdom, and perspective. Proud to celebrate women who lead with purpose.

We are deeply grateful to Make-A-Wish co‑founder Linda Pauling for travelling all the way from her home in Arizona to join us in Athens and London as part of World Wish Month celebrations 💙

In 1980, Linda’s son, Chris, had his wish to be a police officer granted. This wish went on to inspire the Make-A-Wish movement.

In Athens, Linda joined the Make-A-Wish Greece (Κάνε-Μια-Ευχή Ελλάδος) Walk for Wishes event, where the community came together to celebrate the life‑changing impact of wishes around the world.

In London, Linda joined us for the Make-A-Wish International Leadership for Impact Summit, bringing together global business leaders and supporters of Make-A-Wish to drive collaboration and sustained social impact.

Thank you, Linda, for more than 46 years of dedication. Your passion and commitment to Make-A-Wish remains a source of endless inspiration 💙
