Yesterday was the third and last day of HMUN 2026. It is a bittersweet feeling that this conference is officially over because this will also be the last conference of many Staff members. Olivia Hehenkamp:
Heyy! I’m Olivia, one of the SG’s of this year’s HMUN! My role is to lead our team to success and make this an unforgettable experience. With Oksana on my side, we help our team to achieve having organized the best MUN for our delegates!

A little bit about me: I’m 17 years old and happily playing in a band. But being Secretary-General has been on my bucketlist for a long time, I’ve been attending MUN’s since I was 12, and now I’ve participated in 14 conferences! Last year I had the role of DSG of Representation, which gave me some experience with organizing a conference. I was in charge of organizing our own small conference for our students.

My biggest goal is to make this the most memorable conference for all our delegates, chairs, and every other role. I hope I’ll make that wish come true, see you at the conference!!🧡

Oksana Bubis:
My name is Oksana Bubis and I am the Secretary-General of HMUN 2026, together with Olivia Hehenkamp. This means I oversee the organizing committee and am responsible for the entire conference. I am very honored to hold this position. As the conference is approaching, there is definitely a lot of pressure, but there is also excitement. I am looking forward to meet all of you and I hope everyone will enjoy this year’s HMUN!

Hi everyone! We are the organisation branch of HMUN 2026!
First of all, in our team we have the Conference Managers, Naomi and Mariet. They work for hours in the messy HMUN room to sort everything out for the conference, and they also make sure that all the necessary supplies are present. Make sure to think about them when you enter a nicely decorated committee next week!
Secondly, we are also very lucky to have our Heads of Hospitality Kai and Celine, who do everything that’s in their power to make sure that there is housing for schools that have applied for it, and they manage the hospitality team. They won’t be hard to find during the conference, they’ll sit behind the reception desk!
Lastly there’s me, Julia, the DSGO. I arrange all sorts of things related to, well… organisation. I’m here to ensure that the conference runs smoothly!
A big thank you to my lovely team and I’m very excited to see you all next week!

Hi! We are the members of the Representation Branch of HMUN 2026!
Together, we make sure that our school is well “represented” in the MUN universe.

Our knowledgeable and wise Heads of Representatives (HoR’s), Tobias Knijnenburg and Koen de Groot, are in charge of our delegates, guiding and training them through the steps necessary to be well-prepared for a conference! And our bright Heads of Youth (HoY’s), Naomi Tessel and Aïny Jung, keep the MUN-spark alive among our young students, and are in charge of our lovely admins!

As DSG of Representation, I oversee these two positions and make sure this team’s communication and efficiency is at its peak, as well as organizing, our schools smaller conference, SGHMUN!

We hope to see you at HMUN, and good luck with the preparation and debate!
