Dear TEIMUN community,
Every chapter eventually comes to an end and a few days ago ours as the 39th Board and Secretariat has finished.
It’s difficult to put the past year into just a few words. We had to overcome a lot of challenges but we also learnt a lot about ourselves and we want to thank everyone who made this year what it was. To our delegates, chairs, journalists and everyone who contributed to GrunnMUN and TEIMUN in one way or another - thank you for trusting us and bringing your own energy to this community. The European International Model United Nations Foundation would not be what it is without the people who make it come alive! We hope that throughout our time on the Board we managed to contribute something meaningful to you, whether that was a new friendship, a valuable lesson, a memorable conference or simply a place where you felt welcome and could be yourself.
Although our time at TEIMUN is now over, the story certainly isn’t. TEIMUN will continue to grow and evolve and we couldn’t be more excited to see where the 40th Board and Secretariat take it next! We’re confident that they will bring their own ideas and ambition to the organisation and create a chapter that is uniquely theirs.
For us, it’s time to step back, look at everything we’ve built together and simply say thank you.
Thank you for being part of our year. Thank you for the memories, the trust, the support and everything in between. It has been an incredible privilege to serve this community and we’ll carry this experience with us for a long time to come 💙💛
