Meet Our Meerhoven Community

Deepmala Singh

I am Deepmala Singh, originally from India 🇮🇳 and living in the Netherlands for the past seven years. I am passionate about cooking, dancing, athletics, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I am also actively involved in community initiatives through our organization, Aryavart Foundation and I am proud to be connected with CreActive Hub.
One of my greatest achievements has been balancing a busy household with three children while successfully running BayLeaf Kitchen for nearly five years. I transitioned from careers in finance to culinary entrepreneurship, bringing together analytical thinking, discipline, and creativity in a way that has shaped our business journey along with the strong support of my husband Amit.He is also equally passionate about cooking.
Together, we founded BayLeaf Kitchen, a cloud kitchen that has become our "fourth baby." Over the past five years, it has grown through dedication, continuous learning, and the support of our loyal customers.
Based in Eindhoven, BayLeaf Kitchen specializes in authentic North Indian cuisine, offering freshly prepared home-style meals and tiffin services. Drawing on years of experience, we bring the rich flavors, traditions, and warm hospitality of India to every meal we serve.
In addition to our daily meal services, BayLeaf Kitchen has successfully catered corporate events, private celebrations, community gatherings, and special occasions. We take pride in creating memorable dining experiences that bring people together through food.
For us, food is more than just a meal—it is a way to share culture, build connections, and create lasting memories.

The CreActive Hub is excited to be part in Muziek aan de Gender XL, a multicultural festival celebrating music, creativity, and diversity in Veldhoven.

Many artists from our community will showcase their work, offering visitors the chance to discover different artistic styles and cultural perspectives. Alongside music, performances, and community activities, the event provides a wonderful opportunity to support local talent and connect with people from different backgrounds.

Hello!! Just a reminder about our lunch date at Weeffabriek this Sunday at 12:30.

At 1:00 PM, Lama’s exhibition opens, and at 2:00 PM we have the official opening.
We’ll also have Sara Buitrago singing and Jimenez performing.
Caro Velanda will interview Lama so we can all get to know our artist a little better.
