In his ongoing exhibition Witnesses of the Inner World, artist Min Thapa explores parental sacrifice in neo-impressionist pointillism. Thapa draws inspiration from his own observations of his parents, and his own as a father.

Message for all involved with Stichting Thang

A DIFFICULT DECISION!

During the board meeting of the Thang Foundation last Sunday, we jointly decided not to fly to Nepal in 2026.

This decision is based on several considerations:

The current situation in the Middle East

The risks associated with flying in these uncertain times

The high ticket prices, should the trip go ahead

The fact that everything that needs to be arranged and discussed can also be done perfectly well via a Zoom call

Of course, we would have loved to go, but we choose not to take these risks. This is partly because family members will also be staying behind at home.

We remain hopeful 🤞 and look forward to a situation where things look brighter again in 2027.

f you feel the need to share things with us or ask questions, please do so. We, Stichting Thang, will try to support/help you remotely.
