The UT Entrepreneurial Challenge is a technical innovation competition for students of the University of Twente. In cooperation with captains of the industry, students are able to develop an idea into a real business and pitch their idea for a grand jury consisting of CEOs and (vice)presidents of the UT and partner companies.

Congratulations to Team J58 for their remarkable achievement in winning the Prototyping Award! Not just one or two, but a total of three awards have been presented to J58. They have also received the Audience Award and the Oost NL Impact Award! 🏆🎉

J58 has designed a manual wheelchair (S2) that enables users to independently adjust their sitting position to prevent prolonged sitting. This incredible innovation offers numerous benefits, including improved physical health, emotional well-being, and professional opportunities.

Congratulations to team Treetune for winning the Ideation Award! 🏆🎉

As cities face the challenges of climate change, it's important to keep parks well-watered. Treetune has come up with a solution using machine learning to predict soil moisture in parks. This eliminates the need for expensive sensors. By training the algorithm on past moisture levels from sensors and satellites, Treetune can accurately and efficiently predict when watering is needed.
