Sign-ups for the Kick-In, the introduction period of are open now! 💚

If you are starting your studies here in September, this introduction period is for you! In those 9 days, you will see everything the university has to offer for and next to your studies. 🤩

It starts on Wednesday, August 19th (Bachelors), and Saturday, August 22nd (Masters & exchange students), and ends Thursday, August 27th, for everyone. 🥳

Do you want to join the Kick-In while guiding a group of new master students? Then sign up as a Master Do-Group parent now! 💚

Are you a Bachelor's student? That is no problem. If you study at UT for two years or more at the time of the Kick-In, you can join as a Master Do-Group parent and share your experiences you have gained with the new master students. 🐸

If you have a friend who wants to do the same, then both of you can sign up and become Master Do-Group parents together! And if not, no worries. We will just match you with someone else, so that you will never be alone. 🤝

Do you want to organise the most impactful event on campus? Apply for the Kick-In Committee 2027! 🐸

Together with your fellow committee members, you will dedicate a year to giving new students a great start to their student life. To do this, you will collaborate with over 200 enthusiastic crew members, university staff, and external companies, among others. You will also receive financial compensation for the work you do. 🤝

Would you like to help us during the biggest event on campus of the University of Twente? Make sure to sign up as a crew member! 💚
From now on, you can sign up to become crew for the upcoming Kick-In! Last year, around 200 crew members helped to make sure the new students had an unforgettable time! Let's make sure that it will be the same again for this year's edition! As a crew member, you’ll help build up and break down activities or help during the activities.

Besides helping with the Kick-In, you also get a lot of perks as a crew member. Think about food and crew merch, all while having fun together with your fellow crewmembers. You also get to enjoy some of the great Kick-In activities outside your shifts.

Do you want to organise the Kick-In 2027? These are some of the benefits of becoming one of the six committee members! 🐸

You will be working towards a shared goal of introducing the new students to UT and Enschede. That year, you will gain real board experience, be in contact with associations, motivated students, employees, external parties and new students, all while having fun together with the whole Kick-In Committee! 💚
Some benefits are mentioned in the posts, but not all: for example, financial benefits, a 4.000€ compensation, getting to know the Kick-In community, UT employee benefits, learning professional skills and even more 🚀

The Master Kick-In is taking place from the 22nd till the 27th of August, and you can be part of it! Are you excited about guiding a group of new master & exchange students through the Kick-In and showing them everything the university and the city have to offer? You will be able to participate in all kinds of activities and enjoy the Kick-In yourself another time, while making sure the new students are having the best start ever 🐸

You can become a Master Parent if you are currently a master’s student at UT or if you have been a UT student for at least two years by the start of the Kick-In.

Are you excited about programming? Join the iDB!💻🐸

The iDB is the programming committee of the Kick-In. Everything related to the visible and invisible digital infrastructure is taken care of by us. Think of participant and crew sign-ups, ticket systems and scenario management, all designed to make the Kick-In run as smoothly as possible. Throughout the year, we work together to improve and expand these systems. You’ll be part of a group of students, supported by experienced iDB members and their company Drenso. We mainly work with PHP Symfony framework, Vue frontend and React Native for our mobile application. 🚀

We’re looking for enthusiastic students who want to help build and improve the Kick-In systems! Programming sessions take place every Tuesday evening. You don’t need experience with our specific technologies. General programming experience is recommended! 🙌
