Het Onstaan van DRIO
Tijdens haar reizen, sociale en culturele ervaringen en levenslessen, kreeg Gülsah inspiratie om de 3 O’s te combineren. Dit zijn grenzen waar we constant tegenaan lopen, persoonlijk, opleidings of kennisgerelateerd, cultureel, of landgrezen. Deze 3 O’s vanuit al deze grenzen en het verleggen ervan in de samenl
eving/cultuur/mensen/wereld. Drio is samengesteld uit 3 O’s, Ondersteuning-Opvoeding-Onderwijs. De eerste O staat voor “Ondersteuning”. Het doel van Drio is om kinderen te ondersteunen, jongeren, ouders en leerkrachten met projectgebaseerd werk ongeacht hun afkomst, leeftijd of geloof. De tweede O staat voor “Onderwijs”. Hiermee beoogd Drio om de educatieve trends (technology/technieken/methoden) te volgen en manieren en plaatsen te vinden die hier voordeel uit kunnen halen. Het sturen op het proces en de verandering die past bij betrokken ouders, scholen en organisaties. Speciale aandacht hierbij zal uitgaan naar vroegschoolse educatie en meertalige programma’s. De derde O staat voor “Opvoeding”. Hierbij wordt gezocht naar (nieuwe) manieren om te netwerken en ouders en leerkrachten te bereiken, onder meer via creatieve presentaties/workshops/cursussen. Het doel is om de betrokkenheid van ouders te vergroten bij de opleiding/school van hun kinderen en om hun op de best mogelijke manier te ondersteunen. (persoonlijk, educatie, landgrenzen etc.) Drio ondersteunt meertalig en multiculturele opvoeding van kinderen,
Drio omarmt wetenschap als een belangrijke factor voor niewe inzichten en methoden om te werken. Drio ondersteunt families. Drio is actief betrokken bij de (lokale) samenleving. Drio neemt deel aan verschillende lokale en internationale projecten. Huidige activiteiten/projecten van Drio

2. OKUL - meertalige leerprogramma's
OKUL is een werkgroep die al meer dan 10 jaar kinderen ondersteunt met meertalig onderwijs/opvoeding. Sinds kort werken we met een nieuwe methode, voortgekomen vanuit de synergie en interactie tussen de 3 O’s. Lessen worden gegeven op meerdere locaties;

3. WORLD KIDS FESTIVAL @ TV BOKT; Date to remember 25 Mei 2017
De internationale samenleving bijeen te laten komen met het doel om de kinderen van deze samenleving kennis te laten maken met sport en cultuuractiviteiten. Speciale aandacht hierbij voor kinderen die minder gemakkelijk in de gelegenheid zijn om met deze (sport-)activiteiten in aanraking te komen. Daarnaast het doel om gezamenlijk met hun gezin, familie en vrienden een gezellige, leuke leerzame en ontspannen sfeer te genieten en op ontdekkingsreis te gaan. Meer info : www.worldkidsfestival.com

Drio is a passionate NGO which is founded by Gulsah van Dijk
How Drio is founded? During her world travels, social and cultural expriences and life changes, getting inspirations Gulsah came to combine the 3 O words/topics/needs. Noticing the balance these 3 areas hold/interact/affect with each other. Touching more people and having them touch each other to think beyond borders! These are all the borders we face all the time, personal, educational, culture, country borders etc. It did start/come to light because of the combination of these 3 needs in society/culture/people/world/life…. Drio is constructed bij Three O`s in Dutch: Ondersteuning-Opvoeding-Onderwijs. The First O is for “Ondersteuning” which means Support. The aim of DRIO is to support children, young people, parents and teachers with project based work regardless their background, age or belief. Second O is for “Onderwijs” which means Education. With this Drio aims to follow the educational trends (technology/techniques/methods) and find ways and places to benefit from it. Driving the process and change that fits the parents, schools or organizations involved. Focus with this will be especially on early childhood education and multi-lingual programs. The last O is for “Opvoeding” which stands for Pedagogy/Parents Support. This is to find any (new) ways to network and reach teachers and parents and by the different and creative presentations/ workshops/courses. Goal is to increase the parents’ involvement for education/schools and to support them the best way possible (e.g. with new innovative pedagogical methods) while raising their children. Drio works beyond borders! (personal, education, country, etc.) Drio supports multi-lingual and multiculturel raising of children. Drio is embracing science as an important driver for new insights and ways of working. Drio gives family support

OKUL is a working group that for over 10 years supports children with multi langual education/tutoring and coaching. Recently they started a new working method, resulting from the synergies and interaction between the 3 O’s. Lessons are given at multiple locations;

Bringing the international society together with the purpose to let the children experience sports and cultural activities. Special attention goes to children who are less easy getting into contact with (sports-) activities.
