A behind-the-scenes look inside the cleanroom at Ter AA!🔬

During the FIRST® Tech Challenge kickoff, FIRST® Tech Challenge Team Orange had the opportunity to visit the cleanroom at Ter AA and discover where technology, innovation, and precision come together!🤖

Experiences like these help teams connect what they learn through robotics with real-world applications and explore how science and technology are used beyond the competition field.

A big thank you to Ter AA for welcoming the team and providing this unique learning opportunity!🧡

Have you ever visited a cleanroom? Tell us about your experience in the comments!👇

Last weekend, STEAMup, together with Team Orange and moo tech, were present at the Science Day in Middelburg! It was a great day full of curious visitors, exciting technology, and plenty of enthusiasm for science and engineering.🔬🤖

Together, we’re showing young people just how fun and inspiring STEAM can be. Who knows - perhaps among all those curious visitors was a future engineer, programmer, or roboticist! 💡

Further, we’d like to say a special thank you to Dow for their continued support throughout the years. Together, we’ll keep working to inspire and engage young people with robotics and technology. 💙

Thanks to Frank and Guus for making this activity possible!

A new challenge has bloomed!🌸

Saturday, over 250 team members came together for the FIRST Tech Challenge Benelux Kickoff, where this season’s challenge was finally revealed.🔍🤖

This year, it’s all about biodiversity - exploring the incredible variety of life around us and discovering how we can better understand and protect it. 🌿🦋

Now, the real work begins.
Over the coming months, teams will design, build, code, test, break, rebuild and test again. They’ll turn ideas into machines, solve problems and figure out how to make their robots thrive on the field.🌱⚙️

But just like biodiversity, this season is about more than what happens on the field. Teams will share what they learn, inspire others to get curious about the world around them, and help grow a community where different ideas, skills and perspectives can come together.🐝💡

There’s a whole ecosystem of ideas waiting to be explored, and we can’t wait to see what everyone brings to it.

Thanks Ter AA for welcoming us all! Let the exploration begin.🤖🌿🦋

The FIRST® Tech Challenge Benelux Kickoff has officially started at Ter AA!

After kicking things off with the opening ceremony, teams from all over the Benelux and Türkiye jumped into the masterclasses - discovering new ideas, strategies and ways to tackle this season’s challenge.

And don’t forget: the FIRST Market is open all day, so make sure to stop by and see what’s waiting for you!🛠️

There’s plenty more to discover… and soon, we’ll finally find out what this year’s game has in store. 👀
