We are a social club for international women living in the Eindhoven area. Our club has about 150 members from over 40 nationalities

Our mission is to ease the transition for newcomers to Eindhoven, and we have been welcoming them for more than 50 years.

By sharing our unique cultures and experiences, we gain a community that feels like family.

Congratulations to Paulette Kreté and the YvYa community for this well-deserved recognition.

Through YvYa, Paulette and the whole YvYa community are changing the conversation around breast cancer detection with courage and care for women here in Eindhoven and far beyond.

Two strong women reminding us why it matters to understand the city we live in.

Yesterday at DOMUSDELA, we came together for our Extraordinary General Meeting. Members reviewed and approved the 2024–2025 financial report — transparency and accountability keep our club strong.

After the formal part, Supriya Vij and Chaitali Sengupta guided us through how local government works and how council decisions shape daily life in Eindhoven. Clear explanations, thoughtful questions, and an open discussion that truly mattered.

Understanding how our city works helps us take part with confidence.

It was so good to be back together at .eindhoven, sharing this important moment as a community — thank you to everyone who showed up and took part and of course to our Guest speakers who took the time for this meeting.

Happy Lunar New Year to everyone celebrating across different cultures and traditions.
New year, new moon, new beginnings.
Across many cultures, this time of year marks a fresh start filled with family traditions, festive meals, and wishes for prosperity.

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, we send warm wishes to all members and friends, near and far, who are celebrating the Lunar New Year.
May this new cycle bring energy, freedom, and forward movement in all the right directions.

Fun fact: In Chinese culture, the Horse is a symbol of strength, optimism, and adventure. People born in the Year of the Horse are often seen as lively, warm-hearted, and full of spirit. Just like our international community here in Eindhoven.

YESTERDAY'S CARNAVAL MEET UP 💕 💕

Carnaval is Eindhoven culture in full colour. And yesterday, we blended right in. 💃

February is here, and in North Brabant that means one thing… Carnaval time! 🎭
But before the costumes and confetti, we have a few lovely general club moments to look forward to.
From our monthly meeting to the colourful Carnival meetup and a gezellig New Members Coffee Date, there is something for everyone this month.
And don’t forget: these are just our general club events.
Behind the scenes, our SIG groups are busy with walks, coffees, creative meetups, language circles, and so much more. There is always something happening if you feel like joining in.

Our IWCE Winternarket tradition, turned into impact

One of the things IWCE is proud of is our IWCE Wintermarket tradition: community first, and giving back as part of who we are.

During a special coffee morning few weeks ago with members and board, we handed over €1505 to YvYa.
YvYa raises awareness around breast cancer and supports earlier detection through their Early Warning Scan initiative. nl
To everyone who baked, volunteered, visited, donated, and helped spread the word:
this is what “stronger together” looks like.

Dear ladies and friends of IWCE Eindhoven,

Another year with IWCE done. A year full of success and good talks, spontaneous laughs, last-minute plans, and moments where someone said, “I almost didn’t come,” and was very glad she did.

Thank you for being part of this club and for bringing your energy, stories, and personalities with you. IWCE is not about perfection. It’s about people — and that’s what makes it special.

Cheers to the coming year, full of fun, friendship, and a wonderful, peaceful life here in Eindhoven.
