We are a social club for international women living in the Eindhoven area. Our club has about 150 members from over 40 nationalities

Our mission is to ease the transition for newcomers to Eindhoven, and we have been welcoming them for more than 50 years.

We had the pleasure of meeting Paulette and Hülya from YvYa, two inspiring women who have turned their personal experiences with breast cancer into a mission to help others.

We talked about their journey, the importance of early detection, and what keeps them motivated to make a difference.

Two women. Two personal journeys. One shared mission. ❤️

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re introducing you to Paulette and Hülya from YvYa.

Both have experienced breast cancer themselves. Today, they’re helping raise awareness and working towards a future where breast cancer can be detected earlier.

And there’s wonderful news! 🎉 YvYa recently received a €125,000 award through the 2026 VOORbeeld competition, organised by Stichting VOOR! This funding will help launch scientific research into the effectiveness of the Early Warning Scan.

But important work like this needs more than awareness. It needs people who care, communities that come together, and opportunities to be heard.

That’s why we’re proud to support YvYa through the IWCE Winter Market 2026. ❤️

Something OLD. Something NEW. And a whole new story. 👗

At Rechter Handen, clothes can become more than something we wear. With creativity, imagination and a second chance, the old can become something completely new.

We were lucky to be there as their creations made their way onto the red carpet and to hear from the founder about the idea behind this special project. ❤️

This special project was created in collaboration with , bringing old and new together on the red carpet.

Another beautiful reminder that upcycling isn’t only about what we save, it’s about what we can create from it.

And we’re happy to welcome back to this year’s IWCE Winter Market. ❤️

We visited Books 4 Life Eindhoven to meet Svetlana and Willem and discover what really happens behind those shelves.

From giving books a second life to supporting charities and creating a place for connection and belonging, we discovered that this is much more than a second-hand bookstore.
