Yesterday was Werken bij MTA’s 24th birthday, and we are proud to highlight them as one of our key partners!🧡

For the past twelve seasons, MTA has been by our side as one of our key partners. During that time, we have had the opportunity to experience and learn from their strategic approach to engineering within High-Tech mechatronic applications! Specializing in development, industrialization and eventual series manufacturing, many of the lessons learned by MTA in their years of experience have been valuable in refining our own engineering approach.

Next to supporting our organizational development, their help has been instrumental in defining our modular design approach known as ‘Plug & Play’. Aside from the advantage that design approach gives us in competition and intercontinental transport, it teaches our students to work within an industrial-grade design philosophy actually applied in STEAM.

Today we congratulate MTA on their 24th birthday! Over the years, MTA has been home to many of our members who have worked or followed internships with them. The similarities between our organizations don’t end at the orange color scheme, but extend to a shared culture rooted in enthusiasm and friendship.

We are incredibly thankful for MTA’s continued support over the past 12 seasons, and hope to be able to keep learning from them in the future!

Today we highlight one of our key partners: AAE bv!💚

Have you ever used a sharpie? Or been vaccinated for COVID? Then you’ve come closer to AAE than you might realize. AAE specializes in complex machinery in three business lines: Printing & Assembly Automation, Ultra Conditioned Precision Modules, and Advanced OEM Systems. As an important link in the supply chains that uphold our local Brainport business ecosystem, we share many of our underlying drivers: to introduce more young people with STEAM and prepare them for an impactful career.

AAE has been with us from the very beginning, supporting our team from the 2013/2014 season onwards. During that time, they have helped us with engineering challenges as well as the development of our organization. Along with three of our mentors working in full time positions for AAE, they’ve provided many internship opportunities for our students, directly helping them in their progress within engineering fields.

This year we congratulate AAE on their 50th birthday! An impressive milestone during which we have seen the company grow quickly without losing their familiar identity, the foundations for which were laid by their founder William Pijnenburg, in memory of whom our 2017 competition robot was named.

We are immensely thankful for AAE’s continued support over the past 13 seasons, and are excited for many more years to come!

We’re closing off the year with our annual TR Graduation! 🎓

This moment marks an important milestone for our senior students as they graduate from Team Rembrandts 4481 and wrap up their journey as active team members.

We celebrated the end of the season together with great food and, of course, some fun games to look back on an incredible year full of growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

While our seniors are graduating from the team, they will always remain part of the TR community. As a community team, they are warmly invited to reapply in the future as mentors and continue sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation.

Congratulations to all our graduates, and thank you for everything you’ve contributed to Team Rembrandts! 🧡

That’s it, that’s the season🧡

We came into the World Championship with good faith, but as always, you never quite know how things will unfold. Through every match, every challenge, and every unexpected turn, the team kept pushing forward.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been picked by FRC Team 686 Bovine Intervention and to compete alongside 3707 BHS Technodogs and FRC Team 4270 The Crusadors. What started with uncertainty going into the play-offs quickly turned into something special. With strong strategy, trust in each other, and a lot of determination, we fought our way all the way to the division finals.

Reaching that stage already felt like a win. The journey, the teamwork, and the moments we shared along the way are something we won’t forget anytime soon.

Big congratulations to the Division winners and the Einstein champions. It is truly well deserved!

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this season, both at the event and from back home. We’ll see you again next year.

Qualification Day 2 is in the books!🧡

After our final matches in the Milstein division, we’re proud to be ranked 21st out of 75 teams. Coming into Worlds, we never quite know what to expect, so we’re really happy with how this season has turned out!

We wrapped up the day with dinner alongside FRC 1678 Citrus Circuits Robotics, had some great conversations, and really appreciated their hospitality🧡💚

Next up: alliance selection. Let’s see where this journey takes us🚀

Qualification day 1!

This day showed that anything can happen at worlds! Having some challenges at the beginning of the day and receiving a red card got our orange energy down a bit. But, we chose to shift our focus to what is up ahead: The rest of the qualification matches. And luckily, we were able to close off the day with some better ones!🧡

In the pits, we were excited to tell our story to the judges and other teams. Have you seen our mini-era? Come see it at our pit.

Practice day✅

After loading into the pit, Era II successfully passed inspection!

Following a bit of waiting, we finally got the chance to hit the field and run through several practice rounds. This gave us valuable time to fine-tune our strategy and test all of the subsystems. We wrapped up the day with our official practice match, where everything came together and we got a solid feel for the field and gameplay.

We’re excited for qualification day tomorrow and can’t wait to see what it brings🔥

While half of our team was at Texas Torque, the other half set out to explore! Some of us visited the Houston Space Center, where we learned a lot about NASA’s rockets and even got to see their largest rocket up close, an amazing experience! 🚀

We also took a walk around the park, and a few people paid a visit to the natural history museum in Houston. 🦕
Overall, we learned a lot and feel ready for the days ahead!
