Rembrandts STEAM Foundation is a Dutch Non-Profit organization that started as the First native Dutch robotics team, also known as Team Rembrandts.

Team Rembrandts, team 4481, is a robotics team with students from HBO, WO, MBO and High school. Team Rembrandts, team 4481, is a robotics team located in Eindhoven with students from Fontys University of Applied Science, Zwijsen College and Heerbeeck College. HBO, WO, MBO and High school combined all together. Rembrandts STEAM’s vision:

Getting kids and youngsters enthusiastic about STEAM (Sc

ience, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) by organizing learning activities and events that not only have a great technical content, but are also appealing and attractive to the target group. As said by Dean Kamen, Co-Founder of FIRST, “To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.”

Improving knowledge and capabilities that are essential for a future technical professional (like a critical and exploratory attitude, creative and constructive thinking skills, focus to the community and the world around yourself, the importance of significant meaningful solutions and skills to be an effective and pleasant team-player. Helping to improve societies image of Science and Technology. Showing the cross references between Science and Technology and other domains and that STEAM activities are an essential and indispensable element. Facilitating and supporting initiatives, both locally, nationally and internationally, that support the vision above.

Today we would like to highlight the support we have received from !

Through the Youth Impact Support program, we have been awarded a contribution that directly impacts our mission of getting youth interested in STEAM careers!

Through their support, we are taking steps to transform our workshop in Eindhoven to a an accessible space for young people to learn, experiment and explore STEAM together. Having added a laser cutter to our machine shop, it allows us to benefit not only our team but our broader community in the effort to bridge the gap between youth and STEAM.

This funding helps us grow and directly contributes to our mission. Thank you Rabobank for your support!

Today we would like to highlight our partnership with De Cromvoirtse snel metaal op maat !⚙️

De Cromvoirtse has been working with us for many years and has become a vital part of our robot development. Thanks to their support, we are able to have custom-made metal parts produced quickly and accurately, allowing us to continue building and improving our robot without difficult delays.
De Cromvoirtse specialises in metalworking and offers services such as laser cutting, bending and other forms of metal processing. Their expertise allows us to have the metal parts we need produced to our specifications and within a short time, thereby directly contributing to our competitive edge in the FIRST Robotics Competition!
We would like to thank De Cromvoirtse for their continued support and for being such an important partner in the development of our robot. Their flexibility, expertise and fast production have helped us turn our designs into reality🧡

CADMES has been working with us for a couple of years now and thanks to their support, we have been able to make use of Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE
3DEXPERIENCE gives us a central platform where we can work together on mechanical design. After working within SOLIDWORKS for years, the team now uses the 3DX platform to design, view, share and collaborate during our fast-paced build season. This gives us a clear overview of the progress and status of our robot design!⚙️✏️
CADMES supports manufacturing companies with digital transformation, process optimisation and the implementation of technologies such as SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE. Their goal is to help companies work more efficiently, improve their processes and make better use of modern digital technologies.

The VDL group is a large international developer and producer of industrial systems from our home town of Eindhoven. With members of its group specializing in many different industries, VDL Industrial Modules itself focusses on supplying modules for OEM’s worldwide from conceptual development to eventual production.
