Another great event by the Green Café, probably the last one before the summer season so hurry up to sign
Next sunday, on the 9th of june, our english Green Café is organising a nature walk with IVN. We are going to visit the Aanschotse Beemden, a natural area in the north of Eindhoven. This area is a remnant of the old farmlands- a typical feature of the Kempen landscape, which Eindhoven and its surrounding areas are a part of. And we will see how the natural areas have changed over centuries. This area is a part of the stream valley of the Groote Beek which originates at Welschap and flows into the Dommel at Son en Breugel.
There are parking spaces at the meeting point, though we would recommend using the bike or public transport (Castillelaan bus-stop) for sustainability.
Want to join? You can get a ticket for 2,50 euros via de website of the library; https://eindhoven.op-shop.nl/1682/groencafe-nature-walk-with-ivn -table
About IVN: Since 1960, IVN has been connecting people with nature by helping children and adults to experience how fun, healthy and important nature is. They organize nature activities, events, courses, projects and campaigns. This walk is being organized with the local branch of IVN (Veldhoven- Eindhoven-Vessem), you can find more information here.
