Rebuild SXM was started in order to contribute to the rebuilding of the islands of St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba. Maarten, Saba & St. People. Future.

While Hurricane Irma struck the islands of St. Eustatius, Cyriel and John decided they needed to take action. They got together with friends who’s loved ones were also struck by Hurricane Irma and decided to centralise the efforts to . Via social media and many news outlets, the team managed to create an enormous awareness for what happened to the island after hurricane Irma

struck. This initiative to create awareness drove them to even greater lengths and they decided to setup a the non-profit organization ( www.rebuildsxm.com) where all efforts for the islands could be united. was born! With the attention our team received from the many news outlets and social media, we decided to setup several channels to raise donations for projects aimed at helping our people once the emergency services have left. All of the donations will go to these projects in support of restoring the daily life of our people. From the team “We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Pleased that Rebuildsxm was able to contribute to the basketball and netball community, young and old! Stay posted for upcoming initiatives.

In partnership with Rebuildsxm, we’re excited to announce the installation of a new dual-function basketball & netball structure at the Dutch Quarter Community Court!

This innovative setup allows the basket to rotate, making the court suitable for both basketball and netball. With netball growing rapidly on the island, the Dutch Quarter community and the Dutch-Quarter Council now proudly becomes the second official community with a venue for netball.

The upgrade also provides the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Primary School team with a nearby facility to train and sharpen their skills.

We will continue to create opportunities in sports and show the power of partnerships. A big thank you to RebuildSXM for making this possible!
