Bike tour with Buro Lubbers in Eindhoven 🚲🏙️

Join us for a beautiful bike ride around Eindhoven on a sunny afternoon to discover great architecture by the landscape architecture office: BURO LUBBERS.

They will take us on a tour through the city, where we will get an exclusive look at their projects that go from industrial renovations to small-scale housing. There will be a fun challenge during the day with an exciting prize to be won, and we will finish the event with a free networking drink on the Koeveld field in front of Vertigo, where you can talk to architects from Buro Lubbers!

Meet the 17th Board of AnArchi 🖤🤍

Join us on Wednesday, 9th of September at 10:00 in VRT 2.32 for the Change of Board GMM, as we close one chapter of AnArchi and start the next.

Later that afternoon, we’ll continue at the SkyBar! Underground from 16:30 for the Constitution Drink. Come by for a free drink, meet the board, and celebrate with us.

A new board, a new year, and plenty still to come.

Looking back at this year, it’s crazy how many memories we’ve made together; all the busy days, the random laughs, exciting trips and activities, and all the moments in between that somehow became the best ones. 💕

To everyone who was part of AnArchi this year, thank you for bringing your energy and making it what it was!! We’re really going to miss it, but we’re also excited to see what the next chapter brings...

To end the year we want to show a busy week in the life of our active Anarchi members 👯🪄. We are Maria and Thom, third year students from the promotion Committee ☺️🦞.

To start off the week, Thom went on a bike tour through Eindhoven with friends 😝🚲. They analyzed, and detailed buildings for the course materialization, and also visited a petting zoo 🦙🥳.

On Tuesday we had our weekly salsa class together💃😼!! We really enjoy it, with or without a drink before/after 😎🫣.

On Wednesday we have our weekly promotion Committee meeting in the break 💯😄. Always a fun hour to discuss the Anarchi Instagram, posters and other things 🤓📝.

In the evening QUE met (us and a friend) to print the Anarchi merch that we created in collaboration with them 🙊👁️‍🗨️🧅. The shirts are designed together with the board and promotion Committee 💌💁.

On Thursday we had classes in the morning, but met in the break to visit the book market and deliver a funny merch misprint to the board😖👀🥀!

On Friday we met in the break to chill outside in the sun because it was SOOOOO warm, and to have a kiki💃🌞😎.

That evening Maria met with Martyna from the board to dye her hair 🌝! The colour was supposed to be blue, but turned out green... 🙊🥶😵‍💫 Still looked good tho ✨💅🙆‍♀️

On Saturday we met with friends to go to a housepartyyyy 🥳🤪.

And finally on Sunday we had an activity together with the promotion Committee 🤸🌀🚨!! We went to Mooie Boules and played games, blabbed and sung karaoke🎙️🦆🌡️.

Drawing Abroad Aachen ✏️📕

From quick portraits and panoramic studies to collective work, cadavre exquis, and design transformations, the drawing exercises moved between observation and interpretation, between what is seen and what is felt.

Working through Impressionism and Expressionism, we tested different ways of reading architecture: atmosphere, texture, historical layers, residual spaces, and the everyday fragments that shape a place.

Texture hunting 🌀

Are you ready to go on a hunt for the textures that surround us every day? Join us for this very exciting and creative afternoon! On Tuesday 26th of May, we will walk around Eindhoven and use clay to print different patterns and textures that we find around us: tree trunks, façade details, stone work,… 🧱 everything is a possibility! We will then use these pieces of textured clay to make beautiful prints that you can stamp on your sketchbooks and can keep for future drawings! So don’t forget to bring a sketchbook or some paper. 🖍️

🏙️🇳🇱 Join us on a full-day architectural trip to Rotterdam, exploring some of the city’s most iconic contemporary landmarks and innovative design spaces! 🚉

We’ll begin the day by visiting the famous Cube Houses, an iconic example of conceptual housing that challenges conventional ideas of living space. Right next to it, we’ll explore the vibrant Markthal, where architecture, food, and public life merge into one striking urban interior.

From there, we’ll head to the Museumkwartier, home to some of Rotterdam’s key cultural institutions.

To conclude the day, we’ll get exclusive access to the Baantoren construction site, guided by our new partner Powerhouse Company. We’ll end the experience in their floating office, where you’ll enjoy a tour and a drink while gaining insight into one of the Netherlands’ leading architectural practices.
