Last month, we had the opportunity to visit in Elst! 🍅

The day started with a presentation about Heinz, their products, and the problems that occur that we, as upcoming engineers, could work on. 🔧

Afterwards, we were guided through their facility, where we got to see their production lines. 🦾

During the Carnaval break, we went on an unforgettable study trip through Switzerland and Italy, combining inspiring company visits with the opportunity to explore new cities together. 🚌

We kicked off in Zurich with a visit to ETH, where we discovered innovative student teams and cutting-edge projects. This was followed by visits to PSI, Gericke, and VDL Switzerland, giving us valuable insights into the connection between research and industry.👩‍🔬🔧

The journey then continued to Turin, with a stop in Liechtenstein along the way. In Italy, we visited Pininfarina and explored an automobile museum. There was also plenty of time to discover the city and create great memories together. 🏛

From high-tech research facilities to world-class automotive design, this trip offered a broad and inspiring perspective on future career paths.🤩

This trip would not have been possible without the support of UFe. Thank you for making this experience possible! 🙏

The final quartile of the year has kicked off and its first month is filled to the brim with activities once again! 🙌

Next weekend, after enjoying the summer vibes at the Latino Drink🌞, the sporting prowess of the Association will be tested during the Batavierenrace between Nijmegen and Enschede. 🏃 The week after, you can learn about the amazing committees that will open up for the next year, come to the huge PartEE with ME, or join the quarterly beginners welding course! 🤩🔧

We keep up the pace for the last week of the month, starting off with a Case Night hosted by Sia Consultancy, a tasty and cheap shared dinner at Happie040, and of course: the famous German Drink!🍻

A few weeks ago, we, together with .t.s.v._thor , , and , had the opportunity to visit the Shell Pernis site, one of the largest refineries in Europe! 🤯

The day started with several presentations about Shell and the many projects that we, as upcoming engineers, could work on in the future. 🤩

After lunch, we played the interactive energy transition game, which taught us about the different factors involved with this complex issue, from political to financial aspects.

In the afternoon, we went on a bus tour through the impressive Pernis site, where we got a closer view of all the different facilities. During the tour, we also visited the control centre, where any upcoming issues occurring on the site are handled. 🚨
