EESTEC Training Team

The EESTEC Training Team is a group of dedicated trainers offering extensive sessions on various soft skills topics for members of EESTEC and others.

Electrical Engineering Students' European Association (EESTEC) is an apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit organization which targets and trains through its activities students from electrical profile Universities, Institutes and Technical Schools in Europe. The vision of EESTEC is to unite all electrical engineering and computer science students across Europe to empower them to reach their

full potential in their academic, professional and social lives. The EESTEC Training Team is a group of trainers ready to deliver the very best trainings aiming to teach soft skills, develop characters, pass on knowledge and continuously improve our association and support its growth on both local and international level. The team was founded 8 years ago and originally thought by experts in these particular fields. Today, new generations of EESTEC trainers are thought on so called T4Ts or Training for Trainers. A number of experienced trainers spend more than a week of intense lectures, feedback and practices sessions with specifically chosen trainer candidates from all around Europe. The last T4T took place in Krakow, Poland in March 2016, welcoming the 8th Generation of Trainers into the team. Besides T4T the training team is the co-organizer of the operational event TOOL (Topic Oriented Optimal Learning) and is involved in other local and international projects and events in EESTEC, such as the Soft Skills Academy, Game of Teams and International Motivational Weekends. We are in close collaboration with a number of other students NGOs in order to support a youth network that aims towards the promotion and impact of training across Europe. What else has the EESTEC Training Team done apart from delivering sessions?

Every year, our team has projects that help the board in achieving their mandate goals and their mandate is typically 4-6 months. Let’s see what our team members have been up to!

📜UpdaTRT, since our team has been around a lot of years, had the task of checking whether our practices are outdated and updating them if they are.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑OrFuns Project had the goal of bringing together different generations of trainers and having a stronger bond as a team.

❓Trainer Support Hub aimed to facilitate transferring knowledge between our members helping not only recent graduates of a training program, but the whole team.

🎙️TrT Podcast was a way to bring more awareness to our team within and outside of our Association in a fun and engaging way.

🔍TrTBuddies tried to bring our Team closer to EESTEC branches in order to strengthen their training culture and our presence in the branches.

🌟A huge thank you to all of our members that joined these projects and of course to our coordinator Ana for always being there to help and … coordinate.

✨Happy New Year everyone✨

🎉We want to begin this year with a new series that will continue throughtout the rest of the mandate, in which we show our trainers’ sessions in SSAs events.

🌱Each year our Local Committees have the opportunity to organise a Soft Skills Academy event which falls under the umbrella of the project.

🧑‍🏫 In these events, certified Trainers and professionals deliver sessions on soft skills like group dynamics and design thinking to university students with the ultimate goal of empowering them.
