Our mission is to give with a loving heart to our neighbors as God expects us to do.
2 Corinthians 9:7 “Each one should give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Vision
We want to carry out our mission according to the saying “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” With this in mind, we plan to not only give for a day, but also invest in people so that they learn to provide for their daily basic needs. Strategy
The foundation's directors want to keep the foundation's operational costs as low as possible. This will be done by using volunteers and technology as much as possible to optimize processes within the foundation. In addition, the foundation is intended to independently finance its own recurring costs. This is done by only investing the donations from the directors and using the return for the foundation. Donations intended for supporting projects are kept in a separate savings account. From this, only the amounts that are spent on the specific project will be transferred to the checking account and processed. These donations go directly to the projects that the donors want to support, which will mainly be in Suriname and Costa Rica.

Project CR SZR26P021: A Gift That Opens Doors: Our Completed School Supply Donation 🎒

With full and thankful hearts, we are overjoyed to share that our school supply donation — carried out in loving partnership with Asociación Misioneros sin Fronteras — has been successfully delivered and is already blessing children in Costa Rica.

Because of this shared effort, boys and girls from families with limited financial resources are beginning their 2026 school year with the supplies they need in their hands and hope in their hearts. Notebooks, pencils, and essential materials are no longer just items — they are symbols of encouragement, dignity, and possibility.

This donation has already become something beautiful. It has turned generosity into action. It has turned compassion into opportunity. And most importantly, it has reminded children that they are supported, valued, and believed in.

We want to extend our deepest and warmest gratitude:

❤️ To the incredible team at Asociación Misioneros sin Fronteras, whose dedication and faithful service ensured that every contribution reached the children who needed it most.
❤️ To every volunteer who gave their time and energy with such kindness and care.

Project CR SZR26P020: Costa Rica School Supplies Donation – 2026 School Year.

The 2026 school supplies donation drive in Costa Rica has been successfully completed, supporting primary school students from low-income communities in La Ceiba de Acosta, San Gabriel de Aserrí, and San Vicente de Tres Ríos. Thanks to generous contributions, essential school packages were prepared and distributed to help children begin the school year fully equipped.

Each package included basic supplies such as notebooks, pencils, colored pencils, erasers, glue sticks, scissors, and more.

This initiative was carried out with the valuable collaboration and coordination of a dedicated local educator committed to serving children in these communities.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make a positive difference in the lives of these students.

Project SU VPL26P011: Fire Destroys Home on Asraweg – February 3, 2026

On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, a multi-story home on Asraweg was completely destroyed by a fire that reportedly started on the upper floor after a mosquito coil was lit in the upstairs living area. The entire upper level of the house was burned down. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fire department was able to extinguish the blaze. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

In response to this devastating incident, Happy to Give Foundation has made a donation to support Mr. M.K. and his family. The contribution will help provide essential needs such as food, drinking water, and clothing during this difficult time. We remain committed to assisting families facing urgent hardship.

On the 7-02-2025 we have donated sandwich toppings to the Mr. Huber Stichting in Suriname. Mr. Huber Stichting provides a 24-hour daycare facility for children and young adults with severe and multiple disabilities who cannot stay at home. This facility provides structured care, support, and activities tailored to these individuals’ complex needs.
